Roksanda Ilinic’s dreamy new SS13 collection shone this year at London Fashion Week, with a combination of pretty daywear and deluxe one-of-a-kind pieces to introduce Spring-time pinks into our wardrobes with sinister notes of Winter chill, inspired by the essence of ghost stories and the most macabre of fairy tales. Ilinic made a style statement with a beautiful variety

of textures this season, accented by fashionable angular accessories and shoes. Roksanda’s girls were made a ghostly presence on the catwalk in wool dresses in pale pink cashmere, long skirts with woven checks and

graceful full-skirted dresses with feminine strappy tops.

The models strutted, full of hate like Amnesia Rose,s in pastel pink crepe overcoats and angular silver striped Witch-toed booties, Ilinic made a rebellious move by introducing dark and mysterious Neophrene jerseys and fur collars in wild, dramatic colours, paired with panelled dresses and colour blocked coats. Her antiseptic flower girls reinvented Sprint-time fashion with jet-black intrusions of colour and sexy silhouettes.

Roksanda used soft fabrics in her new sS13 collection, in champagne, watermelon and candy pink colours which look good enough to eat. I just love her beautiful coats and skirts, with plasticised coatings in clotted cream colours and in pink hues, as sweet as a kiss on the lips. Ilinic blended lady-like lace and metallic silver Queenly capes with sickly green and bold orange fur collars and coats with lashings of black PVC; an unsettling look. But it was Roksanda’s glittering pastels in bubble-gum and candyfloss shades, with crystallised beading, which stole the show with the most va-va-voom.
