Christian Education . . . .

Junior Worship Ends May 22Spring Christian Education classes are drawing to a close. May 22 will bethe last day of Junior Worship which is held during Sunday Worship. Itgives the children a chance to start Worship with their families, hear a

message geared to them and then go to their own group for a Sunday School lesson. Pam Sheets andKen Bartlett have taught these children. Their lessons end with May 22.

The middle and high school class will be also be wrapping up Sunday School discussion on May22. They have been using the Sticky Faith Curriculum "Can I Ask That?". The topics have beenstimulating, controversial and thought provoking. “We have learned to be tolerant of others as ourstudents attend high school and head for the college years.” noted Georgann Whitney, who teachesthe class with her husband John.

Parents can help the committee by giving Georgann their opinions on the curriculums used with theclasses. Any other suggestions or assistance is also welcome.

Condit Vacation Bible School NeedsYour Help (Continued from page 1)

Supplies needed for props and decorations are black plastic sheets(tablecloths), rolls of brown paper (paper bag material), battery operated tealights, climbing gear (helmets, ropes, harnesses, headlamps, lanterns) and dome shaped tent (sleeps3-4) to use as a cave. Cash donations also help.

Help is needed to build props and set up the stations. A VBS Work Day is scheduled from 5-7 onSaturday, May 14th to make props. These will be put in place later. Around June 4th, helpers areneeded to set up the stations so all is ready for Monday morning.

Crew leaders are needed to take the children from station to station where the theme of the day willbe explored in different ways. If you can help in any way, please contact Pam at 937-902-4779.

Updating Children’s Classrooms

The children's classroom remodel is well under way; the room has some newpaint and cabinets. “This room will hopefully also get a new table and chairswhere the children can work,” noted Molly Blevins.

The nursery will be remodeled in the very near future with new paint andcurtains as well as the baby station. It will have a fresh and exciting newlook.
