Tracy Heeter and friends will be introducing a whole range of musical instruments and the music that regular folks have played on their back porches for over a hundred years. Their instruments will include: guitar, banjo, mandolin, fiddle, bass, ukulele and autoharp. Musicians will be playing and showing off their folk instruments, while playing along with songs all can enjoy. Folk music is the basis of today's pop, blues, jazz, bluegrass, and rock music, so if you’ve ever wondered about playing one of these instruments or if you just love music, Folk Music 101 is for you. From Back Porches to the Library: Folk Songs 101
