    1. Jaenschwalde (Germany). Demonstration of oxy-fuel technology on an existing power

plant. Storage in depleted gas fields. Company: Vattenfall

    2. Porto Tolle (Italy). Post-combustion capture: retrofit of a 660MW power unit and

capture of a quantity of CO2 equivalent to an electricity output of 250MW. Storage in an

    offshore saline aquifer. Company: Enel

    3. Rotterdam (The Netherlands). Demonstration of post-combustion technology. CO2

storage in a depleted offshore gas field not far from the plant. Companies: Maasvlakte

    J.V. / E.ON Benelux and Electrabel

    4. Belchatow (Poland). Demonstration of post-combustion CO2 capture in a lignite-fired

plant. Storage will take place in saline aquifers. Company: PGE EBSA

    5. Compostilla (Spain). Demonstration of the entire CCS process using oxy-fuel and

fluidised bed technology. Storage in an onshore saline aquifer. Company: Endesa

    6. Hatfield (UK). Demonstration of pre-combustion capture in a new IGCC (integrated
