Drawing Tutorials Follow the steps to draw the frog flying on the lily pad. This image is based on David Wiesener’s “ Tuesday” book. When starting the drawing use light sketch lines. It’s easier to erase light lines than dark lines. 1) Draw the frog’s head and body shape. 2) Add the lily pad shape. The gray lines indicate a line that will be erased. 3) Add the mouth and eye shapes. 4) Add the legs and toes. 5) Add the eyes. 5) Add spots and detail lines. 5) Add the cattails and reeds. 6) Erase the extra lines and now the frog is ready for coloring.
