    PREFACE

The most motivating aspect associated with pursuing a course in management is the dynamism

associated with it. Dynamism of adding a new perspective to ones personality and vision by

accumulating wider knowledge, developing analytical skills. Master of Business Administration

(MBA) imparts the student with such virtues and prepares to take the business world in their

stride. The project gives a considerable exposure to students and provides them with an

opportunity to see the practical aspects of working of the corporate world. This project is yet

another opportunity to see the application part of what we study or learn.

Research studies constitute the backbone of any management education programme. A

management student has to quite frequently do the research work during his entire span.

Education becomes more meaningful when its theoretical aspects are combined with practical

experience. It helps the students in improving their understanding of the studies.

In this project, an attempt has been made to study the Absenteeism in Cargo Motors. It ensures

that goals are consistently being met in an effective and efficient manner.

    ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

No creative work can be done in isolation. We need guidance and motivation at every step of

    success.

My case was also not an exception. I always felt guidance, motivation for the fulfillment of the

project. This report bears the imprint of many personalities who have made contribution to the

success of this project. So, I must express my sincere gratitude to those who made this project a

    successful incident.

Words alone cannot express my deep sense of gratitude to Mr. Bhupinder Arora(Sr.

Manager, HRD) who provided me an opportunity to be a part of Cargo Motors for my

training. Their valuable guidance & support made this project work an enlightening

    educational experience.

I would also like to express my gratitude from the core of my heart to Mr. Kushmiagar

Mathur (Assistant Manager, Personnel) & Ms. Preeti Bains (Personnel Officer), who

helped me in coordinating my entire project. Their consistent support and cooperation

showed the way towards the successful completion of project.

I would like to express my deep sense of gratitude to all the members of Cargo Motors, who

directly or indirectly helped me during my project work.

    It is well said,

As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to

utter words, but to live by them.
