Definitions: -

Newbies – If either you, or your ‘(new to agility dog)’ has never entered a dog agility show

before, then you may enter as a Newbie. No faults, refusals or eliminations will be judged in the Newbie classes, so long as you go back and correct your dog and complete the course.

These classes are won on time. If you enter a Newbie dog in the Newbies classes, you

cannot enter that dog in any other class apart from Classes 6, 12, 13, 19, 25 & 26. See * on the schedule. Jump height may be chosen on the day. Please Note: - Newbie Handlers may carry a silent toy but NO food.

Retired & Recovery – If you have a dog over the age of seven, or a dog recovering, or unable

to go over the required height for some reason, then you may enter in the Retired &

Recovery classes. If you enter your dog in Retired & Recovery you cannot enter that dog in any other classes apart from Classes 6, 12, 13, 19, 25 & 26. See * on the schedule.

Jump height may be chosen on the day.

Please Note: - Retired & Recovery Handlers may carry a silent toy but NO food.

Touch & Go – Any handler & dog can enter this class. The handler must take their dog over

the three pieces of contact equipment. Once the judge is satisfied the dog has touched each contact, the handler and the dog can continue on around the course. The time will only start

in the second part of the course.

Pairs – There will be five heights offered in the pairs. Each pair of dogs MUST enter at the

same chosen height starting at Micro. Neither one or the other dog in a pair can enter more than once. This class will be offered only as a ‘pay on the day.’

Simple Silent Jumping Course – Any handler & dog can enter this class. The handler must

take their dog through a simple jumping course using body language only. No clapping, clicking fingers or verbal commands at all! Cash prizes up to 3rd place.

1. Entry fees £3.50 per class (£6.00 for pairs). Pairs = Pay on the Day 2. The show will be manually timed. 3. The show manager reserves the right to refuse entries. 4. Dogs under 16 calendar months of age on the day of the Show are not eligible to compete. 5. No bitch in season is allowed to compete. 6. No person shall carry out punitive correction or harsh handling of a dog at any time. 7. Dogs must not wear any type of slip, half-slip collar or lead when under test. A flat, close fitting, leather or

webbing collar is permitted, providing the only attachment is a plain identification panel as an integral part of

the collar i.e. not attached by a ring. 8. No competitor shall impugn the decision of the Judge or Judges. 9. Marking will be based upon Standard Kennel Club rules unless otherwise stated. 10. Hurdle Heights: Large 600mm, Standard 550mm, Medium 450mm, Small 350mm, Micro 250mm. 11. The Height limit for dogs:-

a. Large Dog classes - For dogs measuring over 430mm (1’ 5”) at the withers can go Large or Standard. b. Medium Dog classes - For dogs measuring over 350mm (1ft 1.75ins) and measuring 430mm (1ft 5ins) or under at the withers c. Small Dog classes - For dogs measuring 350mm (1ft 1.75ins) or under at the withers.

12. A dog shall be withdrawn from competition and removed from an Agility Show if it is:- a. A bitch which is in

season. b. Suffering from any infectious diseases or contagious disease. c. Interfering with the safety or chance of winning of an opponent. d. Of such temperament or is so much out of hand as to be a danger to the safety of any person or other

animal. e. Likely to cause suffering to the dog if it continues competing.

13. In the event that the show is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, Frittenden Dog Agility will refund

fees, on receipt of a stamped addressed envelope submitted within one calendar month of the day of the

show. 14. Food shall not be carried in the hand or given to a dog in the ring. Silent toys may be used for Newbie

Classes. 15. Separate entry forms must be completed by each Competitor and must be signed by the Competitor or his

authorized agent, entry forms must be accompanied with the appropriate fees. 16. Any bank/postal charges incurred by the organisation as a result of competitors’ actions or circumstances

will be recovered from said competitor. 17. No dogs suffering from infectious or contagious disease or having been exposed to such disease during the

period of 21 days prior to the Competition may compete. 18. It is the competitors’ responsibility to be available for their class and running order. 19. Any handler or other person in charge of a dog is required to remove as soon as possible any fouling

caused by their dog(s); failure to do so may result in removal from the show. 20. Dogs left in cars on hot days, or even warm sunny days without ventilation or regular checks are at risk. If your dog is found to be at risk, forcible entry to your vehicle may be necessary without liability for any

damage caused. Please note: - Cars are parked at the owner’s risk. Frittenden Dog Agility cannot be

responsible for cars, dogs and their handlers. 21. All dogs are entered at this show at their owner’s risk and whilst every care will be taken, the management

of the show will not accept responsibility for loss, damage or injury however caused to dogs, persons or

property whilst at the show. 22. Frittenden Dog Agility reserves the right to limit or close entries before the published closing date if

necessary. 23. Handlers running dogs NFC (Not for Competition) in any/all/specified classes. If you wish to run NFC you

must declare this prior to entering the ring. Handlers running NFC may carry a silent toy but NO food. 24. DOGS MUST BE KEPT ON A LEAD AT ALL TIMES EXCEPT WHEN COMPETING OR EXCERISING. You

are responsible for your dog/dogs and please be considerate of other dogs. 25. Finally, despite the fact the show is in a field, please pick up after your dog.

Any dog fouling in the ring will be instant elimination!

There are woodlands attached to the property where you can exercise your

dogs, but please pick up after your dogs – Thank you
