Principal’s Report

This week our Grade 3 - 6 students returned to

school after remote learning and we are thrilled

to have all of our students back to school now.

The transition for our 3 - 6 students has been

equally as smooth as the return of our junior

students. It really has been like we actually never

‘left’ at all!

Recognising and Celebrating our Diversity - a

proud school community

As a school we proudly

celebrate our cultural diversity

and recently included

additions within our school to

assist us in acknowledging and welcoming our

Aboriginal and Torres Straight Islander community

members.

These tall, free-flowing inside flag poles are now

within our hall and replace the Australian and

Aboriginal flags that were hanging on the rear

wall of the hall. With the smaller desk-top flag set

being stationed in the office foyer as a welcome

and acknowledgement of country in greeting all

indigenous people to our school.

This beautiful Acknowledgement of Country

plaque is a piece completed by Kinya Lerrk, a

100% Aboriginal owned and operated business

that creates design and art to make homes and

offices come alive with products which celebrate

Aboriginal culture and respectfully acknowledge

the traditional owners of our land.

School Improvement

New Sound System Installed

Our new sound system and speakers have been

installed in the hall! We are very happy with this

and cannot wait for our first assembly welcoming

our parents and carers.
