Workshops and Coffee Mornings for Parents/Carers

Coronavirus (COVD-19) Infection Dear Parents and Carers, I would like to keep you informed regarding school arrangements for the management of COVID-19 (coronavirus). We are following all government guidance and are updated daily. We currently have no cases of Coronavirus in school. The latest guidance as part of the DELAY phase of the Management Plan is to: Stay at home for 7 days if you have either:

a high temperature a new continuous cough

This will help to protect others in your community while you are infectious. Do not go to a GP surgery, pharmacy or hospital. You do not need to contact NHS 111 to tell them you’re staying at home. Ending Self-Isolation You should remain at home until 7 days after the onset of your symptoms. After 7 days, if you feel better and no longer have a high temperature, you can return to your normal routine. If you have not had any signs of improvement and have not already sought medical advice, you should contact NHS 111 online at https://111.nhs.uk/service/COVID-19/ If you have no internet access, you should call NHS 111. The cough may persist for several weeks in some people, despite the coronavirus infection having cleared. A persistent cough alone does not mean you must continue to self-isolate for more than 7 days. In School We are encouraging and supporting all children with regular handwashing. Tissues are available throughout school, and disinfectant is used by school staff and our cleaning team. Currently staffing levels remain positive. Should anything change I will keep you fully updated. Please find attached government website links that you may find useful https://www.gov.uk/guidance/coronavirus-covid-19-information-for-the-public https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/covid-19-stay-at-home-guidance Kindest regards and best wishes Sarah Whittington Head Teacher
