What is gracious professionalism?

• A term coined by Dr. Woodie Flowers of FIRST– It's a way of doing things that encourages

high-quality work, emphasizes the value of others, and respects individuals and the community

• Gracious professionals learn and compete like crazy, but treat one another with respect and kindness in the process

Applying Gracious Professionalism as Christians

• Philippians 2:3-4– Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit,

but with humility of mind regard one another as more important than yourselves; do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others.
