Write an extended text on MEDIA. Include books, TV and cinema. Say what you like / dislike (and why), how often you read / go to the cinema etc and compare this to other people (eg mon copain, ma soeur, mes parents). You should check the present tense endings for different subjects in the back of your book!
This piece of work will be given a NC level. Aim for a 4a!

Match the verbs in column A with the correct phrase in column B to make a past tense sentence. You can either write out the complete sentences in your book or cut up the sheet and stick the phrases correctly in your book. You could even colour-code on the sheet if you prefer, but remember to stick in the sheet!

Write a text about your future plans. Make sure you include plenty of detail about what you are going to do, and use link words and time phrases to sequence it all. Don't forget to include opinion and reason. Try to use at least 3 different subjects. Aim for level 5, so use present tense, too.

Write 5 complex sentences / mini texts talking about jobs youd like to do, where youd like to work and why.
Eg Je vais tre professeur parce que je voudrais travailler avec les enfants. Ce sera vraiment intressant.

Write a text about jobs and future plans. Talk about what you would like to do/be and why, as well as what you wouldn't like. You should also try to talk about someone else, eg a friend/sibling. For level 5, you will need to use present tense, too. You could do this by saying what your mum / dad is or by giving opinions in present (eg what you like at the moment).
Remember to sequence your ideas sensibly and to use connectives and time phrases. It would be a good idea to PLAN your text first!
!There is a copy of the model text we used in class in my homework area to help you.
This will be assessed and the level used towards your end of unit assessment.
