Q. 120. What is the sixth petition?

A. "And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil."

Q. 121. What do we pray for in the sixth petition?

A. That God would keep us from sin.

Funds to encourage the learning of Biblical truths through the use of the Westminster Shorter Catechism and the Child’s Catechism are provided through the T. L. Carraway Catechism Fund and

are administered by French Camp Academy.

Reminder: Kids Worship Bags are hanging on the back wall, including some for

“Guests.” Also, don’t forget to pick up a Kids Worship Bulletin on the back table for

3-6 year olds (yellow) and 7-12 year olds (green).

graduates. Please keep our Seniors in your prayers as they finishi up

the year and prepare for the next season in their lives.

Many Thanks! to all who decorated, prepared food and helped serve

the Senior Dinner this past week. It was a wonderful time of

fellowship and encouragement.

Nominations for Deacons are Due Today: Church members who

have not yet turned in a nomination form to Larry Littlejohn, please

do so today. A corrected list of men on the church roll who are over

21 years of age was sent by email; speak with an Elder if you need

an extra copy. Save the Date - Congregational Meeting June 25 to

elect Deacons.

SOS (Send Our Soldiers) Cookies for Dylan Dickey & Lake

Koenig – Due by Noon Monday: Whether you brought cookies or

notes of encouragement for Dylan and Lake today - or bring them in

the morning - please leave them on the counter in the Fellowship

Hall. Be sure to get a label on the sound console and attach it to your

cookies. Note: If you would like to help pack the cookies, join us at

2:00 pm in the Fellowship Hall tomorrow.

Retirement Reception for Sylvia Dickson This Tuesday: All are

invited to drop by the Welcome Center between 2:00 – 4:00 pm as

we celebrate Sylvia’s ministry at FCA. Keep Sylvia and Tom in

prayer as they prepare to move to Germantown, TN soon.

Sunday School Update: All ages will meet together the next 3

Sundays – May 21, 28 and June 4. SS teachers are needed for the 4

weeks of summer school. If you are available to help out for 1 or all

4 Sundays, speak with Mary Nell ASAP so plans can be finalized.

Church Parking Lot: Thanks to Van Anderson and his helpers for

completing the parking lot in time for end of the year events!

Save the Date: VBS and Middle School Activities with Grace

Evan will be June 20-23. Please help get the word out to children

in the local community. Speak with Mary Nell if you are able to help

with VBS registration.

Andrew Brunson Update: President Trump is scheduled to meet

with Turkey President Erdogan in Washington on Tuesday, May 16.

Pray Andrew’s case will be on the agenda and that this meeting will

lead to his release.
