Surrounded by red rock, Fremont River District is one of the most scenic
areas in the world. Although agriculture plays a key part in the local
economy, it is largely ignored. Conservation programs and
responsible management will ensure the land, soil, and water will be
available for many generations to come.
Fremont River Conservation District was organized in 1942, to provide assistance to farmers, landowners, and others to conserve the soil and related natural resources.
