I tried to create a pitch about being given the opportunity to write about the

“Prison System” and how it’s not truly set up to help or change the mind frame or

behavior of the inmates or people who have committed a crime. I would love to

take the opportunity to write and discuss about this well oiled machine we call

prison or “the system”. I would love a showcase my ideas and opinions about why

the system is set up to keep people in a rat race of crime. The system was created

not to truly change people or change their behavior it was created to keep them in

cycle in poverty and crime. Let’s start with why most company chooses not to hire

people with a record. Most companies wont hire you have you have a

misdemeanor or felony on your record. I believe that the problem in that is if a

person can’t find a good job what else are they supposed to do. If a person can’t

support their family what are they supposed to do. Most employers state that they

are companies that operate following the guidelines of EEOC. Someone who made

one mistake in their life or when they were younger doesn’t mean that this is who

they are or who they will always be. I believe that as a society we have unrealistic

expectations of people. How is someone supposed to change if no one will give

them the chance to prove themselves? I think people should be judged by what

they are capabilities are not their past. A person with a criminal background should

not automatically be written off as a someone who can’t complete the job. If a

person has a criminal background an employer should make a decision based off

references, and the severity of the crimes.

I wanted to give a pitch or bid to the website Seed.com but when I tried to sign up

for the website I was unable to make an account. But the site did post a notice for

any that wanted to create an account for them stating: We are in the process of

reformatting Seed.com and new assignments are currently on hold. If you would

like to sign up for the all-new Seed 2.0, please email [email protected]. My

overall impression of the site was fun and innovative. Compared to the other

freelance site I’ve gone to this one seems to have a much broader audience. I like

how the sited listed all of the different companies they work with. I think putting

this information on the site allows you to think about what industry you want to

write for and what type of topics you find interesting. This is also the first site that

I noticed works with a Black owned company which is very important to me. I am

very passionate about writing or blogging about the blacks in correctional

facilities. I think people within the black community would like to hear my thoughts

and opinions. Even after the class ends I do plan on coming back to the site to find

out if they are up and running so I can submit my pitch about how prison will never

help someone rehabilitate or get back on their feet when they are released. I

learned that in the freelancing community knowing who the company works with

up front will invite a writer to use their services. Its exciting to think that your blog

may be published on one of your favorite websites or companies.

Going to the dentist is fun and you can receive pain-free dental work! When you come to our office, you will get to lie down in a comfortable chair while we clean your teeth and makes sure

they are healthy. Our staff will do everything possible to make sure that you experience pain-free dental work. Your Fears are Normal. Fear of dentists is very common. Let's face it going to the dentist is not fun dentists do poke and prod a sensitive area of your body. Often an upsetting

childhood dental experience has lasting effects into adulthood. Sometimes people "inherit" fears from parents, whose experiences with dentists may have been traumatic and far from pain-free

dental work. But dentists are better trained today and have tools and techniques to minimize discomfort and provide you with gentle dentistry. We are out to change that mindset for our families. We encourage you to schedule routine dental visits for you and your child. This is

because we want you and your child to have a positive first experience of gentle dentistry instead of waiting until you or your child has a dental emergency where they will associate going to the dentist with pain. Dentists are doctors who want to keep your mouth and teeth healthy. Just like you go to the doctor for check-ups to make sure your body is strong and growing, we want to

make sure your teeth are clean and in good health. Many of our staff have children of their own and work together to make going to the dentist fun. From the time you are warmly welcomed at the front desk, to the time your child picks a new toothbrush to take home, we will make every

effort to make you and your child comfortable. To you’re your mind we recommend you schedule an examination so you can meet our dentists. Then come back for a cleaning. This will give you a

low stress experience. Take a look at our site www.happydentist.com and check out our client compliments we guarantee to make this a great experience for you and your family.

Most students learn within the first few weeks of attending school that textbooks aren’t a small

expense and finding cheap textbooks on campus may seem like a fantasy. They can run hundreds

of dollars a semester and may cost considerably more than some students budgeted for. What are

college students looking for cheap college textbooks? Luckily, there are a number of methods that

students can use to help cut the costs of textbooks. One of the newest of these is renting cheap

textbooks through and an online site rather than purchasing them outright. While you won’t get to

keep your books at the end of the semester, there are a few reasons this can actually be a better

move for many students. Some textbooks have new editions every semester. This means that if you

buy the book from the bookstore that you will not be able to sell it back when the semester ends.

You won’t want it, they won’t want it and it will end up gather dust on your bookshelf. In this case,

it’s better to simply rent or buy cheap college textbooks and send the book back at the end of the

semester instead stressing over spending a ton of money for books. A low price for cheap college

textbooks is what can be attractive to college students. It can be considerably cheaper. Rental costs

may differ, but students can save hundreds of dollars in a single semester renting rather than

buying. For instance, a textbook that costs nearly $200 to buy new may only cost $50 or less to

rent. For texts that put out multiple editions or those which you know you won’t want to keep, this

may be a much smarter way to get your books. You won’t have to even leave the house, you’ll be

able to place your order and get your books without even having to leave your home. It can be a

great way to get your books before you head to school if you’d like to read up in advance or just

don’t want to deal with lines. Coming to the website www.cheapbooks.com is and can be the

solution to college students every need. Cheap books as a vast assortment of books a student can

choose from. Cheap books works with numerous distributors and can guarantee to satisfy any

college students need for text books.

There is no such thing has REHABILITATION! If prison was truly a place of

rehabilitation then there would be less men that constantly go back! There

would be less be who are considered institutionalized. If going to prison after

committing a crime why does the only choice someone has is to commit

another crime. There aren't any good paying jobs with benefits that hire

benefits. What choices and opinions does someone who has been in the

"SYSTEM" really have NONE! I would like to interview men that have been

released from prison for big and small things. In my interviews I would want to

explore and get answers to how their lives are now that hey have been

released from prison. If they have found a job what type of companies are

actually hiring and interested in them. I would love to explore how it is

extremely difficult to not end up back in prison. I would love to explore how

even finding somewhere to live is a huge obstacle for them to overcome.

Society does not truly believe in second chances. The of my article out

probably be 1-2 pages depending on how many people I am actually able to

interview, or if anyone is even willing to interview with me. I am the best

because I have grown up and seen how the system works with my own eyes.

My father was a correctional officer, Sheriff Deputy, Group home counselor

and I've seen it all. I also am some what an expect on this issue because I

have seen how this has effected my family or friends. Before i decided to

become a communications major i majored in criminal justice for 3 years.
