puppet making workshop performance

John came into our classroom with several large boxes full of all kinds of weird junk.

Or was it really junk?

By tapping, twisting, bending, bangingand blowing he started making many different sounds with the junk.

Then we got to try it too!

So what kinds of sounds did we make?

Whirrr, Boinnng, Gaglunk

Whisssssssshhhhh

Tick-tock, cluck-cluck

Cock-a-doodle-doo

Mooooo and so much more.

Then we went next door where Christian and

Cendrine showed us how to make a chicken

puppet out of plastic drink bottles, wire

and cardboard.

How does a chicken walk, peck, run and jump? We practiced!

Then in groups we acted out the story about Little Cluck.

Each group also got to do the sound effects.

Finally, we were ready to perform our puppet show for each other.
