Tom Capri (left) exhibits “Muses, Dreams, and Wanderings,” in addition to a collective display of work by over 80 artists. This last hurrah includes food and drinks, music, and crowds of well-wishers, benefactors, and supporters of the Arts. Music: Fiddlin Big Sue Band. 2 6 PM | Alexi Era Gallery (245 W 8th Ave) ArtWalk Highlight! Join us in welcoming Eugene’s newest gallery! “Lowbrow Tarot II: LBT II” is an international art exhibit featuring 22 new works of art from the lowbrow art movement inspired by the Major Arcana, each showing some aspect of the human experience. A talk and Q&A session on Tarot will take place at 7pm. Also: A solo show, featuring work by California artist Tracy Lewis (right). Tracy Lewis is a creator of watercolor compositions that often balance both the animal and vegetable kingdoms. 3 6:30 PM | gilt+gossamer (873 Willamette St) “The Art of Sisters” showcases abstract watercolors by Lynn Story Taylor (left) and ceramics of faces by Dianne Story Cunningham. The sisters began exploring their interest in art and experimenting with a variety of media when they joined a women’s art group ten years ago. 4 7 PM | Vistra Framing & Gallery (160 E Broadway) Gene Costanza is a contemporary realist painter of traditional subject matter, focusing primarily on landscape. Gene orchestrates paintings that engage the viewer and invites them to enter his world. By capturing the light and atmosphere, the feel and smell, the wind and waves, he hopes to share places that mean something to him. 5 7:30 PM | Oregon Art Supply (1020 Pearl St) Patti McNutt demos plein air painting, along with her pieces on display in “Italian Land, Sea, and Cityscapes.” She states, “Most of these paintings were done, en plein air, during a 2016 trip to Bologna, Venice, and Tuscany. 9 MECCA (449 Willamette St) A show featuring textiles by Barbara diJeannene, including quilts, handwoven yardage from handspun silk, knit shawls, and knotted pile pieces made from both handspun silk and commercial threads.

10 OUT ON A LIMB Gallery (191 E Broadway) “ART IN THE NEWS,” charcoal portraits on newspaper by Michael Cross.

11 Pacific Rim Art Guild & Gallery (160 E Broadway, basement) “The Sea,” an all member show featuring themes related to the ocean. Also: Ron Smith shows his wood relief carving wall hangings,

while Dan Chen exhibits his sculptures and a variety of work. During the ArtWalk, Dan will demo a clay sculpture and Ron will be working in wood on a new wall hanging for “The Sea” show. Music: Singer and guitarist Brett Bell.

12 Shadowfox (76 W Broadway) A continued exploration of sacred geometry art. Colors incorporated into wood pieces bring a new perspective to the detail of the underlying math of the universe.

13 White Lotus Gallery (767 Willamette St) “Presence and Timelessness,” featuring work by Toko Shinoda, Kozo, Satoko, Jon Jay Cruson, Charlie Search, Lynda Lanker, and Gary Tepfer, through September 3rd.

23 ECO Sleep Solutions and Gallery (25 E 8th Ave) Felted wool home décor and apparel by Tylar Merrill; clay tile collages by Annie Heron; wall art by Mari Livie; whimsical hand painted wood, linen, and silk pieces by Lybi Thomas; stone carvings, wood sculptures and imaginative, fanciful masks by Cedar Caredio; and Luminessence light sculptures by Stephen White.

24 Eugene Public Library (100 W 10th Ave) “From the Shoreline to the Hills: A Painter’s Journey,” works inspired by nature by Joanna Carrabbio. On display through August (2nd floor). Music: Jazz concert by the Joe Manis Trio. Starts at 6pm.

25 Eugene Yoga (245 East Broadway) “Intersections,” work by Roka Walsh and Becky Uhler that connects nature and technology. The artists merge images from and of the natural world, creating photographs that are altered to look like paintings and paintings that are so detailed they look like photographs.

26 Harlequin Beads and Jewelry (1027 Willamette St) Jewelry by local artists. Open until 6pm.

27 InEugene Real Estate (100 E Broadway) Paintings by Christian Ives.

31 St Vincent de Paul (100 East 11th Ave) St Vincent de Paul showcases work by their own resident artists, including designer and upcycling artist Mitra DeMirza Chester and glass artist Christopher Jenkins, whose glasswork is produced by Aurora Glass.
