He is a hard worker and his contri- bution to community is known to many. He is a strong valued Pas- samaquoddy man with a deep love for his family, culture and community. ~ Nominated by Coff Francis Plansowes has been helping com- munity members through her pas- sion of bringing back gardening . She has worked tirelessly to install over 120 home garden boxes to encourage growing and organi- cally grown food. Woliwon! ~Nominated by Hilda Lewis Ryan Newell, Sr. Arthur was a Korean War vet, He was one of the first Native Consta- bles of Pleasant Point to attend the State Police Training Center in Orono, Maine in 1969. ~Nominated by Patrick Newell Grace Roderick Chelsea sang with a proud and strong voice with the Little Eagles Drum group. She loved her culture and was always dancing and sing- ing at Pow-wows. Her mother taught her how to dance and in turn she taught her daughter Tanisha to dance. And drum. Chelsea was a good role model for the youth. She had a sense of pride that many looked up to. Her family will al- ways be proud of her and the per- son she was.
