All students are to be at school ready for

learning at 9am

School concludes at 3pm

If your child catches a bus please ensure they

are at the bus stop 5 minutes earlier each

morning.

Pack a school hat, water bottle and healthy

snacks each day.

• Participation in Child Protection lessons

These require parental permission before students

can participate in these 2017 school programs.

Parents are to SIGN the permission notes printed

on the LAST WHITE page and return to the

CLASS TEACHER

SCHOOL NEWSLETTER

The newsletter is published on Monday of each week and

is distributed to families via the eldest child OR it can be

emailed to you (guaranteed to get your newsletter weekly

so let us know if you wish to use this option.) The

newsletter is the most direct form of communication

between the school and parents. Regular features include:

events and Department of Education and

Communities news

□ P & C, Canteen & Community News.

Please take the time to read the school newsletter as this

will allow every family to be actively involved in all

aspects of school life.

The newsletter is also uploaded to the

school web page and Skoolbag weekly.

SPORT

Stage 1, Stage 2, and Stage 3 sport will be held each

Thursday .

Stage 2 and 3 will be having Bluearth sessions every

second Wednesday.

If your child is new to the school they will be issued

a sporting house before next Friday.

SWIMMING CARNIVAL

Friday17th February - Week 4

All students in Year 2 that are 8 years of age and can

swim a length of the pool are to attend the carnival.

All students in Years 3 - 6 will be attending the

School IN ACTION

PBL at Franklin

We encourage all students to participate in our Scripture classes.

These classes will begin in a few weeks on Thursday mornings.

They reinforce our school values of respect, safety and achievement. If you do not wish your child to attend we require a

letter from parents each school year.

This week’s lesson for PBL will focus on showing our school

values at eating times at school.
