3. HISTORY

It all started with a food truck! Planet Grilled Cheese Food Truck opened its window in May 2016 and served its first gourmet grilled cheese in Tampa, FL. It was such a success that a couple of months later, some of the most successful shopping malls in the area contacted them with the opportunity to expand their business. In November 2016, their first location opened in the Lakeland Square Mall and gave the people what they were missing: a fast food restaurant serving fresh, crispy and cheesy made-to-order grilled cheese sandwiches!

Planet Grilled Cheese’s mission is to become a recognized brand in the new generation of family oriented restaurants by providing high quality ingredients and unique grilled cheese for the whole family! We don't just serve slices of bread with cheese in between! We offer our customers the ultimate grilled cheese experience thanks to our unique recipes. From the classic “Plain” that takes you back to your childhood to the “Meat lovers” for those with big appetites or the “Turkey & Bacon Chipotle” for the ones who like a little kick. We pride ourselves in providing our customers with delicious sandwiches, grilled and melted to perfection at affordable prices for breakfast, lunch and dinner along with an extraordinary customer service.

QUALITY We take pride in serving grilled cheese sandwiches that are made-to-order, prepared and grilled to perfection. We make our grilled cheese with high quality cheeses, Artisan bread, and freshly cut vegetables and fruits.

CUSTOMIZABLE

Customers can come up with their own grilled cheese recipes and create their dream grilled cheese! They can choose the type of bread they want (white or wheat or even pretzel buns), they can choose their cheese, and add toppings for free.

VARIETY We offer a large variety of sandwiches with different cheeses, bread and toppings. We also have up to five different sides as well as delicious options for dessert and snacks like mozzarella sticks and handcrafted smoothies.

Indeed every $8 spent, our customers can get a free kids meal consisting in a kid size plain grilled cheese with American cheese and a juice. Our offer is valid everyday and everywhere.

TRAINING

We offer a full training program consisting of 14 days including one week in your own store. You will learn how to use our equipment, how to cook our grilled cheese, where and how ordering your supplies and more. You will be totally thrown into the Planet Grilled Cheese ! universe!
