Before we start we

this Residential trip
and all it has to offer.
The French adventure week would provide the children with a unique experience, one which they would not normally experience in Blackpool.
The children would have a fantastic and significant opportunity to develop individually and socially in varying team and individual activities
Through the residential week we would expect all children to come away with new adventure skills, language skills improved social and interactive skills.

As you are aware we will be staying at the Chateau duBroutel located in the North of France less than an hour from Calais. The trip will take place from Monday 22nd
October to Friday 26th October 2012
The cost of the residential visit will be £350.00, which includes coach travel to and from the venue and full board at the castle along with visits to market town of Rue, snail farm and chocolate factory and the outdoor adventure activities on site
The cost does include basic insurance ( medical expenses, possessions and accident cover in Europe) however you may wish to purchase additional insurance.
Children who attend the residential will require a EU Health card – these are easily applied for by your self online or through the Post office and are free.
The above cost does not include passport. It is our intension to apply for a collective passport in the new year for the period of the trip. Cost will be confirmed ASAP.
The cost however does not include any spending money for the children.
There are initially 40 places available for the children and these will be allocated on a first come basis.
I will be leading the residential trip and there will be at least 3 other staff members/ adults involved.
There will be a follow up meeting for pupils and parents in July 2012.
We will keep you updated using the details you have supplied us. We have also created a blog for the trip –any updates will also be added there.
If you would like your child to attend the
residential week then we require a
deposit of £60.00 (non refundable) by
Thursday 1st December. (Balance of
£290 to be paid by July 16th 2012)

Hawes Side Educational Activities.
