Framo Standard Training Seminar in Operation and Maintenance

Schedule:

During 2019 we will arrange 2 Standard Seminars at each of our premises in Bergen, Houston, Rotterdam and Shanghai, 2 Seminars in Athens, and 1 in Tokyo, Busan and Dubai.

The Training Seminars will deal with both operation and maintenance.

Bergen 15 -17 January and 20 - 22 August

Houston 5 - 7 March and 15 - 17 October

Shanghai* 12 - 14 March and 5 - 7 November

A 3-days Seminar especially intended for Superintendents and other technical operators of the Framo-equipped ships.

Framo Seminar for Superintendents

Rotterdam 5 - 7 February and 22 - 24 October

Singapore 19 - 21 February, 18 - 20 June and 12 - 14 November

Bergen 5 - 7 March

Our experience is that the demand for superintendent seminars is high, extra seminars will therefore be arranged accordingly.

The main subjects will be:

• Technical build-up of the hydraulic systems and cargo pumps.

• Preventive maintenance

• Annual inspection

• Pre-docking inspection

• Hands-on training

• Evaluation of used spare parts

• Spare part stock on board

• Trouble shooting and repair work.

• Correct operation during loading, discharging, stripping and tank cleaning.

In addition, our tailor-made courses can be arranged all year round, at our training center in Bergen, Norway, or worldwide - related to specific systems and customers. Based upon your special demands we will give you our best recommendation and special offer.

Framo Tailor-made Training Courses

For all 3 day courses with hands-on training, i.e. at our training centres world wide, in Athens and on board / at yard, we will issue a Framo Training Certificate, valid for 5 years.

Training Diploma is issued to all participants at all training courses.

Framo Training Certificates have proven very useful for vessels and crew for proving Framo experience both for vessel qualifications and vetting inspections.

Particularly good results have been achieved by On Board Training, where an experienced person from Framo Training Team will especially highlight the following subjects:

• Theoretical and practicalinstruction of the ship’s staff

• Operation, Cargo handling,Cargo pump’s performance curves

• Supervise system adjustment

• Supervise disassembling of cargopump and check that necessaryspecial tools exist on board

• Check filter box, hydr. oil tank andstorage tank and bring ashorehydr. oil samples for analysis

• Evaluation of hydraulic system andcargo pumps (Technical Report)

• After the course is completed, aCondition Report will be sent to theship and owner

1. Three days Standard Courses in Operation and Maintenance atour offices in Bergen, Rotterdam, Houston, Singapore and Shanghai:NOK 10.500,- per attendant. * Prices at other venues available upon request.

2. Three days Seminar for Superintendents at our premises in Bergen,Singapore or Rotterdam: NOK 10.500,- per attendant.

3. Tailor-made Training Courses at our Training Department in Bergen or atour subsidiaries abroad

• One day: NOK 7.200,- per attendant

• Two days: NOK 9.500,- per attendant

• Three days: NOK 10.500,- per attendant

• Five days: NOK 13.200,- per attendant

Minimum attendance to be agreed upon.

4. Training at the Yard or at the Shipowner’s Office:Price per day for one instructor, training manuals/materials included: NOK10.800,- This also includes travel days to and from. Travel, board and lodgingfor instructors will be charged at cost.

5. On Board Training:The stay on board will be 3 - 5 days and price per day, is NOK 10.800,-. Thisalso includes travel days to and from. Training Manuals, Condition Report andOil Analysis are free of charge. Travel, board and lodging will be charged atcost.

We are running contractual courses with several of the world’s major chemical tanker operators - with excellent results.
