Let’s frame this project around the idea of favors. Bread can serve as a bargaining tool for favors. Favor #1 This weekend, I did a sink load of dishes in exchange for Sunday afternoon brunch, which consisted of homemade waffles (the "bread" I'm referencing in this example), shrimp & grits and smushed potatoes. The value of the bread in this case is a clean kitchen, a fulfilling afternoon meal, along with family bonding time. Clean Kitchen ⇒ Sunday Brunch Sunday Brunch = bread (waffles) + shrimp & grits + smushed potatoes = fulfilling meal + family bonding time

Favor #2 On Tuesday evening, Election Night, I agreed to go to the store to get groceries in exchange for a home cooked dinner for two, which consisted of grilled cheese sandwiches (the “bread” I’m referencing in this example) and pot pies. The value of the bread in this case is in Beautiful Election Night Memories. Evening Store Run ⇒ Home Cooked Dinner for Two on Election Night Home Cooked Dinner for 2 = Grilled cheese sandwiches (bread) + pot pies = Beautiful Election Night Memories
