COMPLAIN GLAUCOMA IN EYE REGION
Glaucoma is an eye disorder in which the optic nerve suffers damage, permanently impacting vision in the affected eye(s) and progressing to complete blindness if untreated. It is often, but not always, associated with increased pressure of the fluid in the eye (aqueous humour)
Signs and symptoms
There are two main types of glaucoma:
open-angle glaucoma and closed-angle glaucoma.
Causes and risk factors here are several causes for glaucoma Ocular hypertension (increased
pressure within the eye) prolonged use of steroids (steroid-
induced glaucoma); conditions that severely restrict blood flow to the eye, such as severe diabetic retinopathy and central retinal vein occlusion (neovascular glaucoma); ocular trauma (angle recession glaucoma); and uveitis (uveitic glaucoma).
TREATMENT
