How did you do?
These are split into five parts, work out how many will be shaded in then have a go at comparing the two fractions.
Player 1 rolls 2 dice, if the numbers land on 1,2,3 or 4 they can make a fraction. (If they roll a 5 or 6 the die can be rolled again)
Player 1 notes down the fraction putting the largest number on the bottom (denominator) e.g. ½
Player 2 rolls 2 dice, if the numbers land on 1,2,3 or 4 they can make a fraction. (again if they roll a 5 or 6 the die can be rolled again)
Player 2 notes down their fraction putting the largest number on the bottom (denominator) e.g. 2/4
Both player 1 and 2 colour in their fraction on the sheet and compare to decide whose is larger. Players use < or > to compare which is bigger. Whoever has the largest fraction wins that round!
