denominator.

Subtracting Fractions*First make sure your denominator is the same.

*If you don’t want your answer to be zero make sure your numerators don’t equal zero.

Comparing Fractions When comparing fractions

with UNLIKE denominators, both fractions MUST have common denominators.

Ordering Fractions Find out if you’re ordering

from least to greatest or greatest to least.

Find the LCM or LCD of all the fractions.

Multiply the numerator to make equivalent fractions.

Order the fractions. Plug the original fractions

back in when ordering.
