Price Modern received an exciting opportunity to furnish a brand-new office space for Authority Brands. This was not a traditional bid – we were not given any basis of design or direction, and it was clear that this was not a price-driven project; this client was vetting dealers based on capability first and foremost, and expecting us to show them what they needed.

We knew that it was very important to showcase our strong design capabilities and the “next level” experience we provide with CET to be able to differentiate ourselves from the competition. We were leading with a manufacturer that was new to us, and a big win like this alone would surpass our goal with the manufacturer.

FRCET Designer: Intuitive UsabilityWe had received the finish schedule from the architect that included all of the interior finish selections, and with CET’s Material Lab I was able to create authentic-looking finishes and apply them as noted on the architect’s plan as I worked to build the model and design the spaces. I was also able to see the design intent as things progressed and could pull together a complimentary finish palate from the manufacturer –this was key to providing realistic 360 panoramas.

Once the 360 panoramas were complete (it took a few attempts to get them just right), we were able to easily upload them to Yulio to include in our presentation.

The few client-requested changes to the selections were easy with CET – I had to make the updates and simply propagate to all the same part numbers. It was painless to navigate what was a new furniture extension for me, and quickly delivering such high-pressure deliverables was a piece of cake!

FRAn Immersive Customer ExperienceGiven a 30-minute window to demonstrate our vision and capabilities, the question became “How can we make this conversation last longer than 30 minutes”?

Our solution was to create an interactive presentation showcasing the many renderings and 360s created in CET – this allows them to take time to view our design for their space after we had left, and after the other presentations were over, they could still view the 360 panoramas to experience our vision.

One Shot to Show ValueOur 30-minute proposal was scheduled to be the first of three back-to-back dealer presentations and several participants from the organization were late to the meeting - including the CEO who showed up in the last two minutes. This made us a little uneasy but we were able to provide the link to our presentation to all attendees, and hoped it would continue the conversation and reiterate our value to those who missed a portion of the meeting.

We found out the next morning that we had been awarded the project!

The client made one trip to our showroom for a few small revisions to the floor plan and finish selections, and after updated renderings was ready to move forward with the order. We were able to place the order about four weeks after we received the award.

Thanks to CET we were able to land this crucial win and meet a very tight deadline with ease!
