9-noon Tuesday August 22 through Friday August 25

In July 16th’s Gospel, Jesus uses the image of seed sown on different kinds of soil to teach his listeners about the fruitfulness of God’s word. Every seed has

the same potential for growth; it is the type of soil that determines how abundant the yield will be. The

prophet Isaiah seems to say the same thing: God’s word, like the seed, always remains fruitful — it will

not return void. So it seems that our human response determines the harvest. God can work with

flawed people who are humble, dedicated, and willing to turn back to him. Through repentant

sinners like us — the seed of God’s word doesn’t return empty; it can bear much fruit.

OLV Family Promise Host Week

Sunday July 16th-23rd

God’s saints would shine like the sun in the heavenly reign.

In marriage, communication is more than just talking. At some point, did you stop sharing about the things

that were important to you? Did your spouse?

Improving a marriage takes time and a conscious effort to learn about your spouse. Growing closer in a marriage

does not happen automatically. Retrouvaille is a marriage program dedicated to helping couples grow closer and

develop a stronger bond. You give your heart and soul to everything you do, between your work and your family. Are you giving your heart and soul to your marriage?

Sometimes the distance between a husband and a wife can seem so wide that it cannot be repaired. Retrouvaille is a

marriage program designed to bring couples closer together. For more information about an upcoming Retrouvaille Weekend program for couples, contact

registration team: at 1-800-470-2230 or visit our website: www.retrouvailleMT.org or www.HelpOurMarriage.com
