The Second Sunday In Ordinary Time

First Holy Communion Parent Meeting — We are holding an important meeting for parents of children scheduled to make their First Holy Communion in May. The mandatory meeting takes place on Wednesday, Jan. 22 at 7:30 PM in the Parish Center. Catholic Men’s Conference — All men are invited to participate in the 2020 Men’s Conference on Saturday, Feb. 29 from 8 AM—4 PM at Seton Hall University. Mass is at 4 PM. Hoboken Shelter Volunteer Night — Our night to volunteer at the Hoboken Shelter at 3rd & Bloomfield is Monday, Jan. 20 from 6 PM—8 PM. If you can’t volunteer you can help by donating paper plates and napkins.

UPCOMING EVENTS A Wing & A Prayer — Join us for a night of food and fun on Sat. Feb. 22 to benefit the Fr. Michael Food Pantry. We’ll have a dozen local eateries vying to be crowned king of wings at this festive fundraiser. We’re adding participants daily but leading the lineup are City Bistro, Madison Bar & Grille, Tony Boloney’s and Northern Soul. Tickets are on sale now at www.stfrancishoboken.net The event runs 6 PM—9 PM at the Elks Club.

The Ministries of St. Francis Temporalities Ministry — Yes we have a wonderful

handyman but ongoing tidying, cleaning and maintenance

for the church and its affiliated spaces could benefit from

helping hands.

If you are handy with plumbing, painting, cleaning, or

carpentry we have some ongoing projects that could use

your touch. Additionally, during the holidays, we could use

a team of people to help organize the décor for Easter. As a

member of the Temporalities Ministry your support is

needed to:

Help with carpentry, decorating, plumbing, painting or

any other trade in which you’re experienced

Cleaning and decorating for holidays, especially Easter

and Christmas

Help schedule detailed cleaning of statues and altar
