RCIA--once again there is an invitation to anyone you know or yourself that would be interested in becoming a Catholic or in receiving

Sacraments of Holy Eucharist and Confirmation. We meet each Monday in the rectory at 7PM.

Ordination of Bro. Eleazar, OMI, will be on Saturday,

Jan. 11th in San Antonio , Texas. Bro. Eleazar was with us

during his pastoral year last year. We are planning on

attending. If we have enough people we can rent a bus

or the airline tickets are cheap at this time. We will also

stay at one of the hotels and have an opportunity to

sight-see San Antonio. Let Fr. Tony know if you are

interested.

Archdiocesan Silver Wedding

Anniversary Celebration will be held on

Sunday, March 22nd at 3PM in St. Joseph

Church on Tulane Ave. This event is for

couples married in the year 1995. Please

give your names to Fr. Tony so that you

will receive an invitation to this

THANKSGIVING MASS SCHEDULE Just a reminder that our Mass on

Thanksgiving Day is at 9:30AM . What better way to start this day than by joining us in

giving thanks to the Lord for our blessings.

Dear Parishioners and Friends of Our Lady of Guadalupe and International Shrine of St. Jude,

Happy Thanksgiving! For three Wednesdays we have been blessed to have had Sr. Judy Gormila ,MSC, with us sharing the theme of Gratefulness. She certainly presented us with a topic that is so timely. I am more and more convinced that grateful people are happier people.

In our prayers, we should often concentrate are gratitude. Each day, stop and reflect on what you are most grateful. We often take for granted blessings that come our way each day. As we celebrate Thanksgiving Day may we make a commitment to make each day one of gratitude.

Please join us on Thanksgiving Day for the 9:30AM Mass. What better way to begin the day than by celebrating the Eu-charist which means Thanksgiving. We give thanks to the Lord for all He has given us especially His own Body and Blood.
