A NEW WAY TO CREATE AN OLD

TRADITION!In these days of the Covid-19 Pandemic and Quarantine, we couldn’t have the children

and families of our congregation come together to create our annual Sunday

School Christmas Pageant.

So, with the help of technology, willing families, a sense of whimsy, and creativity…..we proudly present

A PAGEANT FOR THE YEAR 2020

And Joseph also went up from Galilee, from the city of Nazareth, to Judea, to the

city of David, which is called Bethlehem, to be enrolled with Mary, his betrothed, who

was with child. And while they were there, the time came for her to be delivered. And

she gave birth to her first-born son and wrapped him in swaddling cloths. Luke 2: 4-7

And in that region, there were shepherds out in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. Luke 2:8

And an angel of the Lord appeared to them and said “Do not be

afraid, for I bring you good news of a great joy!” Luke 2: 9-10

And suddenly, there was with the angel, a multitude of the

heavenly host, praising God and saying “Glory to God in the

Highest!” Luke 2: 13

The shepherds said one to another, “Let us go and see this thing that has

happened which the Lord has made known to us.” And they went with haste, and found Mary and Joseph, and the babe, lying in a manger. Luke 2: 15-16

“Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king,

behold, wise men from the East came to Jerusalem, saying, “Where is he who has been

born king of the Jews? For we have seen his star in the East.” Matthew 2: 1-2

“When Herod the King heard this, he was greatly troubled, and all Jerusalem with him.” Matthew 2: 3

“And they followed the star till it came to rest over the place where the child was.

And going into the house they saw the child with Mary, his mother. And opening their

gifts, they offered him gold, and frankincense and myrrh.” Matthew 2: 9-11
