Why did Pope Francis say that 'wasting

leftover food is like stealing from the

poor'? Why did Bea seem uncaring and

    ungrateful at first?

What led to Bea's transformation frombeing ungrateful to being generous?

    ALWAYS remember

We have the responsibility to change our ways.

So that if we have done something wrong, i.e.

steal, we should be able to straighten our bad

    actions.

Our selfish desires can lead us into taking

    things that are not ours.

Hence, we should put into our mind that we are

called to be generous and selfless to others.

    7th Commandment

    MEANING-VALUES-ACTIONS

It forbids unjustly taking or keeping the goods of one's

neighbor and wronging him in any way with respect to his

    goods.

The seventh commandment, therefore, asks us to respect

even the public property used for service to the community,

like schools, government offices, churches, public plazas/parks, and public transportations. These places must not be

destroyed, vandalized, misused because the good of

everyone is violated and therefore, not respected.

    MEANING-VALUES-ACTIONS

Just as much as we are commanded not to

steal and to take what is not ours, we are all

invited to share what we have with others andto respect the property of other people, private

    or public.
