Welcome to Living Word Christian Center’s Biblical Foundation of Faith Classes! These classes are an eleven week comprehensive biblical teaching by Pastor Bill Winston via video.The classes are structured to lay a foun-dation for success in the life of the Believer and to create a biblical hunger and desire for God’s will.

As you honor God with your commitment to invest in your life by starting and completing the Foundation classes here at Living Word Christian Center, know that God will honor that decision with the manifestations of His Word in your life! We encourage you to at-tend every class with the earnest expectation to receive a supernatural impartation!

PURPOSEThe purpose of the Foundation classes

is to lay a solid foundation for success

in the lives of the Believer and create a

biblical hunger and desire for God’s will.

We believe the Holy Scriptures as the re-vealed will of God, the all-sufficient rule for faith and practice, and for the purpose of maintaining general unity, adopts the fol-lowing statement of fundamental truths:

1. We believe the Bible to be the inspired and only infallible, authoritative Wordof God.

2. We believe that there is one God;eternally existent in three persons: Godthe Father, God the Son, and God theHoly Spirit.

3. We believe in the deity of our LordJesus Christ, His virgin birth, His bodilyresurrection, His ascension to the righthand of the Father, and in the blessedhope of His personal, visible, futurereturn to this earth to receive to HimselfHis blood-bought Church that it may bewith Him forever.

4. We believe that the only means ofbeing cleansed from sin is throughrepentance and faith in the preciousblood of Christ.

5. We believe that regeneration by theHoly Spirit is absolutely essential forpersonal salvation.

6. We believe in the redemptive work ofChrist on the cross and that it provideshealing of the human body in answerto believing prayer.

7. We believe that the baptism with theHoly Spirit, according to Acts 2:4, withthe evidence of speaking in othertongues, is given to believers who askfor it.

8. We believe in the sanctifying power ofthe Holy Spirit by whose indwellingenables the Christian to live a holy life.

9. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, the one toeverlasting life and the other toeverlasting damnation.

• There are a total of eleven classes to be completed. All teachings are done by Pastor Winston via video. After each lesson, scriptures will be given for the student to mediate on and memorize.

• We offer resources that can be of some assistance in the memorization process.

• We suggest that you use the Kings James Bible translation for memorizing the scriptures. If you choose to use a different translation, please have that translation of the Bible with you when reciting scriptures.

All classes start promptly, so please be on time.

As a student, please review the following information:

Gentlemen, please be advised that there shall be no earrings worn in class, on stage while receiving your certificate; or while serving in Helps Ministries. Earrings were a sign of slavery Exodus 21:6; re-member YOU ARE FREE!

To ensure that we accurately track your at-tendance and scripture information, please be sure to fill out and turn in your atten-dance sheet, every week before leaving the classroom.

If your address or phone number changes, please provide the updated information ASAP.

Please be sure to obtain a copy of the cur-rent class schedule; this is a beneficial tool to refer to when there are make up classes needed.

We have a dedicated team here to see that you successfully complete the Founda-tion classes; if there is anything that we can do to assist you in this process or en-hance your experience, please let us know.

“Before starting the foundation class. My life was going good and bad and I never knew how to deal with my trials and fear until I Joined the foundation class. Through my 10 weeks of attending foundation class I have learned a lot with dealing with fear because I’m a young woman and I play a lot of roles in life to many people and at times I get scared of accomplishing my dreams, but I know Jesus is with me every step of the way even through my trials the devil has thrown a lot of things at me and I have been able to stand on my feet with God through it all.”

“I am currently renting an apartment where the owner is in foreclo¬sure. I knew that my next move had to be into property that I own. I have spent the last six months looking. I put offers on 5 proper¬ties but they were rejected due to higher offer being accepted. Last week my offer was accepted on a condo that is everything that I wanted. The other properties that I had previously bidded on in one way or another did not have everything that I wanted. I was start¬ing to get discouraged because as a real estate agent I’m able to find everyone

else a house and was thinking that I couldn’t find myself a place. I kept the faith and to God be the Glory.

“I had been in foundations class for two weeks and searching for employ¬ment for well over two years when I received a telephone call from an em¬ployer seeking to interview me for a program manager position at a Chris-tian based transitional living facility. An interview was scheduled and conducted. At its completion I was asked to return for a group interview along with a plan outlining how I would perform the duties of program manager if asked to start within one week. I attended the group interview. I presented my plan while we waited for the third interview. When the third person did not attend, the other ap-plicant presented as the interviewer and I listened intently. Af¬ter both presentations were complete, the employer sat quietly. I am not sure which of you will be program manage, but I will be offering each of you a position. “Approximately one week later, I received a call from the interviewer offering me a position as the chief operations officer. I have no experience as a chief operations of-ficer and I never completed an application for the position prior to the initial phone call. As a result, I know this position was not obtained through my own efforts. It is a gift from God.”

RESOURCESIt is our sincere desire that every student suc-cessfully completes the Biblical Foundation of Faith classes. Our trained staff is equipped to helpyou get to the finish line. They are here to encourage and motivate you to completion; so please take advantage of their help. In addition to our staff, the following resources are available:

Our store, Royal Christian Bookstores offers an exhaustible resource of reading and lis-tening materials that can be excellent tools

to use. All memorization scriptures are avail-able on cards and CD which can be pur-chased from the store.

There are various confessions available to the student that will help throughout the class;

confessions such as: The Victory Confession, Who and What Am I in Christ, What Hap-pened When I Confessed Christ? and many more.

Please feel free to partner up with your fel-low classmates; you can en¬courage each other and perhaps become study or prayer partners.

The Holy Spirit is excellent and too often not utilized enough reference. He will lead and guide you into all truth. As you prepare for the classes, ask the Holy Spirit to join you.

These resources can be used by the Founda-tion Student, while in class as well as once they have graduated.

Father, your Word says that I am to have the same mind as Christ , so I cast down all thoughts of failure. I fix this Christ –like mind on receiving my Foundation Ministry Certificate of Completion!

Because the memory of the righteousness is blessed and I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus, I easily memorize and fearlessly confess your word. Thank you for not giving me a spirit of fear, but a spirit of power, love and a sound mind. Whenever I confess the Word, faith comes as I hear it , so I decree that I receive faith for:

Salvation, the Holy Spirit, Prayer, Faith, the Covenant, Healing, Prosperity, Righteousness and Evangelism.

I thank you Father that Satan is bound in every area of my life and I have total victory through the Anointed One and His Anointing.

In the Name of Jesus, I am a believer. I believe God’s Word. I am what the Word says I am. I have what the Word says I have. I can do what the word says I can do.

In Jesus’ Name, I render ineffective every negative word I have spoken, every word that has been contrary to the truth of God’s Word. From this moment forward, I will acknowledge the good things that are in me in Christ Jesus. I am saying it now, out of the good treasure of my heart, only good things will come to pass.

I am the righteousness of God, a new creation, an heir of God, and a joint-heir with Jesus. I have been delivered from the power of dark¬ness and translated into the kingdom of God’s dear Son; I have been redeemed by the blood of the lamb; redeemed from the curse of the law; redeemed from sickness and disease, poverty, and death.

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. I am more than a conqueror. He never leaves me nor forsakes me. Since the Greater One dwells within me, I can overcome every situation. The faith of God resides within me, and through it I have the victory that overcomes the world.

I thank you Father, that I can have all these things. I believe it in my heart. I have released it with my mouth. So be it. It will surely come to pass.

Father, I praise you that I dwell in the secret place of the most high and that I shall remain stable and fixed under the shadow of the Almighty (Whose power no foe can withstand).
