PRESENTATION
How does energy efficiency and environmental sustainability affect the markets? How do the big energy and
infrastructure companies view corporate responsibility? What are the most significant energy iniciatives in Latin
America?
FUNSEAM, the Foundation for Energy and Environmental Sustainability hopes to open up the debate on these
topics and their impact on the economy and society at its symposium on 28th January 2013 at the Science Park in
Barcelona. Special attention will be focused on the effect of regulation and governmental plans at many levels.
Proposals for sustainability and energy efficiency in various sectors will be laid out and issues such as the energy
options for sustainable transport will be explored. The regulation of sustainability and energy efficiency in Latin
America will be a central issue for analysis as this extensive market grows in relevance to the sector.
