The FG-3980E and the FG-3960E enterprise firewalls deliver unprecedented network firewall and IPsec VPN throughput for large data center applications. The FG-3980E delivers breakthrough 1 terabit per second firewall performance. The performance is validated by Ixia’s latest CloudStorm 100 GE application and security test load module. This performance enables the FortiGate 3980E to function as a data center firewall, to secure interconnectivity between data centers, or as an internal data center segmentation firewall.
