HARVEST ANGUS BULL SALE, WILLIAMS LAKE, SATURDAY, MARCH 10, 2018 Sunshine and a beautiful warm day set the stage for one incredible bull sale in Williams Lake for Harvest Angus and Heart of the Valley Purebred Black and Red Angus Bulls. Tom & Brad blew the limits when they set everyone down to a 1st class steak dinner with all the trimmings and wow was it ever good! This put everyone in the mood to power right into the top notch purebred bulls that were showcased start to finish. Heart of the Valley’s high seller was purchased by Kitzel Cattle Co. of Pritchard, for 8000.00. They were also one of the volume buyers at this sale, selecting 4 top bulls. The second high seller for Heart of the Valley was 2E, selling to Liske Farms and going to Vancouver Island, for 7000.00. Harvest Angus, Tome & Carolyn, saw their Black Angus bulls also trade strong. Their entry of 206E sold to John & Cya Solecki for 6250.00. Their second high seller, 212E, also went to the Solecki’s, racing up to 6000.00. Volume buyers at this prestigious sale were Kitzel Cattle Co., Dan Storey, CL Ranch, T & D Ilnicki, Marvin Zandberg, Meadowvale Red Angus, Don Perlitz, Crystal Waters Ranch, Hartridge Ranch, Tamihi Ranch, and Bar K Ranch. A huge thank you to all our bidders and buyers for one fast paced and exciting sale!

WILLIAMS LAKE REGULAR SALE, THURSDAY, MARCH 15th, 2018 Another wall of incredible feeder cattle in Williams Lake as 700 hd hit the show ring. Quality was 1st class today and the buyers loved them. Liske Farms saw their 415 lb h/c mark 215.00. Their pen of 468 lb s/c marked 241.00. Ivan & Bonnie Thiessen saw their 600 lb blk & red Angus s/c mark 220.00, the big boys, at 660 lb notched 215.00 and their 522 lb s/c busted 235.00. A huge ring full of their first class Blk Simmental / Blk Angus X h/c, 43 hd in total, 601 lbs, set 197.50. Next they filled the ring with their replacement quality Sim / Angus X h/c weighing 641 lb, that traded to 195.00. The Rafter T Ranch had a great group of 800 lb strs that raced up to 182.00. Rusty Toews had heavy, 623 lb Angus X s/c that hit 215.00. Ken & Debbie Ilnicki and Tom & Donna Ilnicki saw their liner load of calves catch fire. Their pen of 16 s/c, all Blk Angus and 566 lb, marking 230.00. A fancy pen of their excellent 488 lb s/c marched to 236.50 and their 361 lb s/c rolled to 250.00. Lyle Klein’s 847 lb Angus X strs traded to 177.50 and his 704 lb replacement hfrs sold to 180.50. Tim & Brian Pooley in with their 1000 lb strs that marked 162.00. Their 800 lb strs topped 187.00. Northridge Cattle Co, Dave & Rosie Wall saw their 730 lb blk Angus s/c mark 192.00 and their 601 lb Angus s/c topped 219.50. The Nunwiler Ranch showcased a liner load of top calves. 17 hd of their 726 lb red x s/c hit 199.50, their 660 lb s/c topped 213.00 and their 651 lb h/c reached 194.00. The 18th Annual Tafika Angus Advantage Bull Sale for Wayne & Jill Hughes and Bryce & Jodi Hughes, was a huge success. Buyers from the U.S. and the whole province of BC made this first class sale electric with fast paced action! 48 premium bulls and every bull was sold! The high selling bull was purchased by Ian & Bev Smith, lot 17E, for 7750.00. Russell & Barb, Brandon & Caitlin Able of the Falkland Ranch selected the second high seller, 81E, for 6500.00. Right on it’s heels was lot 6E, selling to the Douglas Lake Cattle Co. for 6250.00. Volume buyers at this exciting sale were the Douglas Lake Cattle Co., Bart & Rosie Spear from the Spears Ranch in Loomis, Washington, Sean Bennett from Kamloops, the Coldstream Ranch of Vernon, the Falkland Ranch, Paul Hooysma, also of Falkland, and the Bugaboo Ranch, Peter Feldman, of Brisco BC. OK FALLS ALL BREEDS BULL SALE + REGULAR SALE, MON, MARCH 19th, 2018

Sunshine and a beautiful day with 200 hd of cattle on offer here in OK Falls. A real nice mix of feeder cattle, replacement breeding hfrs along with butcher cows and bulls were on offer today. Butcher bulls were sharply higher as James Haynes hit 108.00 oh his 1910 lb bulls. Butcher cows also traded higher today. Karl & Isabelle & Dave Wabnegger saw their 1570 lb cows top 96.00. The Clifton Ranch was in with young 1240 lb cows that reached 112.00. 7 hd of their big, high yielding 1516 lb butcher cows marked 94.50. The Cedar Creek Ranch had 1515 lb cows top 95.00. Thomas Ranches showcased a beautiful pen of replacement quality blk Angus open yearling hfrs, 886 lb, that topped 170.00. The Harpur Ranch set a pace on the sale with 620 lb s/c marking 220.00, the closer to 700 lb s/c reached 205.00 and a ring full of 21 h/c, 581 lb, rolled to 203.00. Ian & Bev Smith, of Rock Creek, saw their 755 lb red strs hit 192.50, the 660 lb s/c traded to 214.50 and their fancy 783 lb replacement hfrs rolled up to 185.00. A solid sale of 505 hd of cattle trading today. Good ness this was one strong sale with huge local interest pushing sales sharply higher. Walter Bopfinger from Lumby in with an incredible load of Char X calves, their 550 lb s/c hit 234.00 and their pen of 481 lb Char h/c hit 219.00. John & Susan Massey had 385 lb s/c race to 247.00. Silvervale Farms put the buyers on the edge of their seats with 900 lb Blk Angus strs topping 170.00 and a pen of their 763 lb strs met 191.00. Dan & Janette Speller presented a top group of blk Angus hfrs, their pen of nine 734 lb hfrs saw 180.50, their 833 lb hfrs reached 180.00. Brian & Sidsel Gunderson set a pace with 788 lb blk
