"The new dimensions in formwork design

will pave the way for creative and efficient

solutions, but will also force us to adapt."

Dear Reader

The advent of digitalization in the building sector holds a wide variety of benefits for design and construction. As an innovator in the formwork sector, MEVA is making every effort to promote the development of this innovative technology. Yet, our focus remains firmly on meeting the requirements of our customers. Always with an open ear and a close eye on real-life conditions on the job site, we endeavour to offer you tailored solutions to meet your specific demands.

In this regard, the digital revolution and building information modelling (BIM) are unlocking new opportunities for the efficient processing of design and production information. The new dimensions in formwork design will pave the way for creative and efficient solutions, but will also force us to adapt. The development of concepts and draw-ings in digital form, as 3D models, simplifies the representation of complex construction processes. The factors time and cost can then be added to the spatial dimensions in the digital model to create a comprehensive information platform that allows the simple, flexible and efficient planning of on-site operations.

To assist contractors in making the transition to digital design, MEVA has forged a partnership with BIM² GmbH and Build Informed GmbH for the purpose of developing state-of-the-art digital appli-cations for structural works. As an experienced and trusted authority, we offer training and personal counselling to help our customers discover the vast potential offered by digital technology. BIM² offers

modelling services that also encompass as-built documentation and develops software that exploits human-computer interaction technology to opti-mize routine processes wherever this is required.

Overall, digitalization opens up a wide range of fascinating new horizons. Full-scale digitalization of the design and construction process has been impressively demonstrated, for example, by Basler & Hofmann AG on a project in Switzerland. With all data for the pioneering project in Esslingen processed digitally, the formwork drawings were subsequently retrievable as 3D models and availa-ble directly on site in digital form via tablet.

Whether you favor a digital or traditional ap-proach, our technical know-how will help you turn your development projects, both large and small, into reality. As we continue to evolve and blaze a trail in the formwork sector, true to our conviction that "better beats good", we ensure that you are provided with simple, front-line products and smart formwork solutions.

I hope that the following pages will provide stim-ulating and informative reading, and look forward to welcoming you to our stand at the bauma trade show.

With best regards

The innovative design of the headquarters of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) in the Swiss city of Lausanne won the category “Office Future Project” at the World of Architecture Festival. Designed by the Danish architecture firm 3XN, the new construction on Lake Geneva stands out, among other things, due to its dynamic curved façade. When future visitors enter the building, they will perceive the galleries of the upper stories as five rotating and intertwined Olympic rings.

MEVA was involved in the development of this building right from the start and supported the complex construction work with simple and smart formwork solutions. That is why we are all the more delighted that this impressive building has won an award, and we would like to congratulate all those involved!

Award for modern architecture

The requirements of the construction industry with regard to quality and cost-effectiveness are con-stantly increasing. That is why MEVA supports the construction companies with their projects on the spot with its expertise and extensive experience.

In 2018 we have once again been able to inform interested visitors about new products and inno-vations during numerous Formwork Rendezvous events. The exhibits included the modular MT 60 shoring tower system and the innovative Mammut XT wall formwork, whose integrated combination tie hole makes it possible to flexibly select between three tying methods with a flick of the wrist.

For construction companies that attend these events the direct contact with familiar and reliable partners is an important factor. Furthermore, the live presentation of new formwork systems offers visitors the opportunity to discuss detailed technical and application-related questions in person directly on the product.

The Fastest Horizontal Wind Tunnel

A complete solution of MEVA products getting the

job done in great time

Ford Motor Co. is investing in a new, aero-dynamics testing wind tunnel in Allen Park, Michigan southwest of Detroit. The tunnel will sit on 14 acres of land and feature environ-ment simulation of wind speeds of 200 miles per hour. An interchangeable 1-Belt/5- Belt rolling road system will be able to replicate real-world driving conditions and can test at speeds of up to 200 mph. The new facility is being constructed to be large enough to test all passenger vehicles; from small cross-over SUVs to large, Super-duty trucks. Ford racing vehicles will also be tested at the facility.

“This investment in new world-class test facilities underpins Ford’s ongoing commitment to advance our capabilities to continue to provide our cus-tomers with high-quality vehicles,” said Raj Nair of Ford. With 22,000 cubic yards of concrete pours planned, the wind tunnel is projected to be the fastest and most capable automotive aerodynamics wind tunnel in the world.

Imperial & STB for the foundations MEVA Formwork was chosen by Aristeo Con-struction to complete the base slab, walls, decks, and roof of the new wind tunnel. The 3.5-foot thick, base slab was 16’ below grade, and was formed with heavy-duty Imperial wall formwork in combination with STB single-sided formwork which was used to form the walls between the slab areas. Heavy-duty Imperial with a pour rating of up to 2,025 psf aligns and securely connects the

panels with the MEVA clamp, and the multi-func-tion profiles with welded-in DW nuts allow for easy attachment of all accessories with a standard flange screw, reducing consumables and speeding up production time.

Smart system, easy to use“The guys [on the jobsite] like the systems”, said Brian Gulick of Aristeo Construction. “We own MEVA Imperial and have had great success with it…some [workers] in this area are not as familiar. But MEVA’s system is easy to use and they picked up on it very quickly”. Added Aristeo’s Ed DeRoch-er: “The parts are interchangeable which makes it very easy to work with. The finish is superior, and it is very user-friendly”.

Single-sided poursSTB 450 frames can be used for pours up to 16’ and extensions are placed in 5’ increments from the top, allowing the base unit to stay intact for pours up to 38’. The frames are only 7-10.5’ wide at the base – taking up less room than other single-side products; making the STB 450 support frames an ideal choice for a large and busy job site such as this one.

Overall Imperial AdvantagesThe variety of panel sizes, panel symmetry, and panel weight all proved to be advantages of the system for Aristeo as well. The wind tunnel goes from a 28’ octagon shape to a 33’ x 36’ rectangle shape to accommodate the tunnel and the testing

area, and ultimately has 48-foot tall walls. MEVA Imperial is ideal for achieving these shapes and heights. Articulated inside and outside corners that adjust from 70° - 220° easily allow for differing geometries. The panels range in size from 2 square feet to 96 square feet, and they are symmetrical; letting the contractor erect them in any needed configuration with limited fillers.

Savings in crane costAnother factor that Aristeo considered is the best-inclass pour rating of Imperial paired with a frame that is lighter than systems with similar pour ratings. “Imperial is lighter than a lot [of the oth-ers]”, said Brian Gulick. “It is a lot easier to build a gang with it.” According to Ed Rocher, another im-portant consideration in regard to the panel weight was crane time. “You can also have almost twice as many panels per crane pick because of the weight of the panels [relative to other heavy-duty systems]. This adds up quickly. We projected that we would save significant money in crane costs by usingMEVA.”

KLK climbing platformsKLK was used to climb the Imperial formwork from 0-32 feet. KLK attaches easily and securely to the Imperial panels with assembly locks. The scaffold and the formwork can be lifted together to the next level without having to completely disas-semble the platform, saving time and labor. The working area is adjustable up to 7.5 feet – allowing for safe and uncrowded working conditions even at tall heights.

MEP for slabsThe MEP shoring system is used for the decks and slabs. MEP is versatile and can be used as a single post shore, shoring tower, or formwork table. It adapts easily to complex designs, varying heights, and slopes – making it a great option for this multi-faceted project. The system has only two standard

Products + service = satisfactionAristeo has been very happy with the perfor-mance of MEVA’s formwork and MEVA’s service on this project. “You know us, and that helps with engineering”, Mr. DeRocher said. “And Steffen has been absolutely great”. The family of MEVA prod-ucts chosen for the job has proved to keep work going smoothly and efficiently for Aristeo; giving them, and Ford Motor Co., another reason to be happy: “We have consistently been on schedule throughout the project,” advised Mr. Gulick.

New Dimensions in Formwork Design

The future is digital. Today, in the 21st century, our daily routine is changing faster than ever before. Technological progress is massively impacting our working methods and boosting the pace, flexibility and efficiency of entire projects.

In the construction sector, the digital revolution has triggered the development of building information modelling (BIM). The industry was long considered resistant to digitalization. Although architects and drafters were quick to replace pen and paper by keyboard and screen, it took a fair time for fully integrated digital solutions to emerge.

Simply ingeniousThe idea behind BIM is every bit as simple as ingenious: all construction project information is compiled, co-ordinated and reconciled using a sin-gle three-dimensional model in a digital database. Admittedly, that is easier said than done. But, once it is done, it delivers enormous benefits as the project progresses.

New benchmark set by rigorous digitalization of the design and construction process in BIM pilot project

Pilot project in SwitzerlandA pilot project masterminded by the Swiss-based design, engineering and consulting firm Basler & Hofmann AG is currently exploring the ways and means by which a completely digitalised project and strictly paperless site can be successfully imple-mented. At the location in Esslingen in the Canton of Zurich, the company is adding a three-story extension to their existing office block. Indeed, the Esslingen site's role within Basler & Hofmann AG as a "development laboratory" for new technologies makes it ideal for the digital pilot project. In real-izing the scheme, the company itself assumed the tasks of overall project management and design development for all disciplines using the single BIM model and BIM co-ordination. All on-site opera-tions are based exclusively on the digital model.

Big closed BIMThe key requirement laid down by the innovative client is for all project team members across all trades to design the entire facility exclusively in a single BIM model, i.e. in a single database. The

technical term for this working method is "big closed BIM", which denotes interdisciplinary ("big") teamwork in a predetermined ("closed") software environment. To date, standard BIM practice has generally involved the development of separate models for each discipline, which are duly co-ordi-nated at regular intervals. With all specialist design-ers working simultaneously on the same pool of data, co-ordination has no longer been at weekly intervals, but in real time.

Digital twinYet, the benefits of this digital project are even more far-reaching. Through its groundbreaking initiative, Basler & Hofmann AG is not only seeking to optimize co-ordination of the models, but also, through integral design in a single model, to create a "digital twin" of the building. The utility of this in-tegral model will then extend beyond the construc-tion process to applications such as the simulation, at a later date, of alterations, conversions or facility management activities.

Challenge for the clientApart from placing extra demands on designers and all users of the system, this holistic approach is also something of a paradigm shift for the client. In Esslingen, many decisions had to be made much earlier than in a conventional design process to ensure that all questions and dependencies were properly clarified in the model. One such question, for instance, related to the choice of sanitary appli-ances as this, in turn, dictated the required plumb-ing connections. However, this early commitment

to specific details is also a challenge for architects and other designers in that it necessitates timely provision of the associated decision-making docu-mentation. Innovative partnershipThe above constraints prompted Basler & Hofmann AG to take the equally unusual and innovative step of involving project contractor Marti AG at an early stage in the development process. "For us, this immediate participation in the project was ideal," explains Alessandro Walpen, BIM Officer at Marti AG. "On most projects today, contractors are confronted with 'fait accompli' instead of being invited to contribute to optimizing the design." In the search for an innovative partner capable of supporting and promoting the digital approach, the contractor turned to MEVA. "We found Basler & Hofmann's integral design concept very appealing," says Alessandro Walpen. "That inspired us to use the digital method in streamlining our own works, also at the structural stage. And we were very im-pressed by MEVA's forward-thinking developments in the BIM field."

Digital formworkBeing quick to recognize the potential of digital technology for formwork design, MEVA soon set about "computerizing" its formwork product family through its own IT Engineering Services department. To facilitate flexible three-dimensional detailing, models for the individual formwork sys-tems are now available for use in up-to-the-minute design tools. "Particularly for complex geometries, 3D design has the advantage of adding transpar-ency to construction processes and making them easier to carry out," points out Michael Estermann, Managing Director of MEVA Schalungs-Systeme AG in Switzerland. "That's why we are increasingly adopting these forward-looking solutions."

Referenced formwork modelIn many cases, to maximize design precision and efficiency, the staff at MEVA's Engineering department also use 2D drawings to develop their three-dimensional models. A comprehensive model was, of course, provided for the Basler & Hofmann AG project. "Although that's not uncommon," says Hannes Endriß, a doctoral student working in ME-VA's IT Engineering Services department, "this level of detail is definitely something special." It was therefore possible to insert the digital formwork panels into a referenced model of the building extension. "As far as the formwork systems were concerned, we started by examining the usual is-

Turning digitality into reality: (from left to right) foreman Dominic Mozzetti, site manager Dominik Hartmann and IT special-ist Alessandro Walpen

sues,” explains Bernd Schuon, the MEVA technician in charge of formwork design and planning. “By that, I mean such things as the pour cycle spec-ifications, concrete quality, excess forming area,

fair-faced concrete requirements etc. In this regard, digital design has much in common with traditional working methods.”

Design expertise still very much in demandThe basement design required provision for two different ground slab levels. Moreover, the slightly stepped geometry of the perimeter walls due to varying angle sizes resulted in 13 different concreting bays. At the same time, the overlying floor slab incorporates two offsets, which are not aligned with the ground slab bays. “Quite apart from the necessary IT know-how, design skills

clearly remain very much in demand,” notes Bernd Schuon. This is strikingly illustrated by the fair-faced concrete slabs above ground-floor level, which were to be cast with MevaDec formwork. “The decision as to the required pattern followed a process of intensive consultation and a series of draft propos-als,” explains Bernd Schuon. As a result, the digital building design, including formwork, was already finalized before the excavator had even scooped out the first bucketful of soil.

Directing site operations with a tabletThe referenced model processed by MEVA’s formwork experts allowed precise insertion of their designs into Basler & Hofmann’s model using the same software platform. On site, the digital infor-mation was accessed via cloud server. The separate views available for each pour can be displayed directly on the tablet. Foreman Dominic Mozzetti finds the applications simple to use. “We have fast and easy access to the relevant data, and MEVA’s formwork model was simply fantastic. Thanks to all the good work done in advance, everything went to plan.” A further advantage of the mobile solution is its limitless application as the download function eliminates the need for a fixed data connection.

Rationalization of on-site operationsFull design development at an early project stage ultimately guarantees the smooth, uninterrupted progress of the works on site. This is good news not only for the client – who can see the speed of progress – but also for the contractor. As Alessan-dro Walpen from Marti underlines, “As we don’t need to allow for any ongoing design develop-ment, we can organize our work precisely from the very start. The time saved on drawing management helps us make quicker progress.” His colleague, Dominic Mozzetti adds, “The fact that each pour can be meticulously planned in advance automat-ically cuts our material requirement because we don’t need anything extra in stock.”

To achieve a regular slab formwork pattern, even in the filler areas, Marti's expert operatives cut the deployed 3S facings to the approp-riate shape. This enhanced the uniformity of the finished surface, in line with the MevaDec grid.

The digital formwork model provides separate views of each pour, thereby simplifying application.

The digital path to the futureThis uncompromising approach to design has obvi-ous benefits for contractors and the move towards digital methods is gaining momentum. As an active partner in the Esslingen extension scheme, MEVA

has clearly staked out its position. “We have recognized the tremendous benefits offered by digital technology and will use the insights gained so far for the strategic optimization of future digital design applications,” says Tobias Wallner, Head of IT Engineering Services at MEVA. Alessandro Walpen is similarly positive: “When we embarked on this ambitious pilot project, there was no guarantee of success. But now we are thrilled by the across-the-board digital approach. This working meth-od offers countless advantages for all project parties and disciplines.”

With its Office Building Extension eGHA project, Basler & Hofmann landed the 2018 AEC Excellence Award in the “Building Design – Small Projects” category. These awards are conferred on projects from across the globe that pioneer the use of digital tools and “connected BIM” in design and construction.

In the growing and everchanging landscape of the college town of Chapel Hill, North Carolina, new multi-residential developments are necessary for the growing population. Fordham Boulevard Apartments; a 272-unit, 295,000 square foot apartment complex will have two sections – five stories on one end and six on the other – and a central motor courtyard and pedestrian pass-through, con-necting the project to a future public green-way and green space. A parking garage is also being constructed in conjunction with the second section of the building.

The project and schedule called for a shoring system that was simple to work with and assemble, and also offers efficient maximization and flexibility to work around other parts of the building structure such as columns. It is also strong enough to meet the demands of the building slabs and schedule and meet strong safety standards. The newest product to be introduced exclusively to the North American market – MEVA32 – was the perfect solution for the needs of the contractor, C&C Industrial.

MEVA32 Aluminum Shoring – Light and Strong, FlexibleOne of the features that stood out for C&C Indus-trial was the weight of the frames. Weighing just under 50 lbs, each frame has a rating of 16 kips per leg, 32 kips per frame. “The men can carry this frame all day without getting tired” advised Robert Case. “Using the usual 10 kip frames, after five or six hours you’re tired. You’re tired because those frames are 70-75 lbs each. Another thing is that you have to use two people to lift each frame for placement on the screw jacks. With this system, one worker can do it.”

Gains in productivityMEVA32 also features a top head that can be turned one direction for single beam, and the other direction to accommodate double beams; saving parts and labor. The six-foot width of the frame al-lows for less frames to be used over the same area compared to a traditional 10 kip system, allowing the contractor to gain even more efficiency. All of these factors have contributed to gains in pro-ductivity and the job schedule for C&C Industrial.

iI’ve saved at least a day and a half or two days of productivity with my eight-man crew”, Robert said. “With a normal 10 kip system, set-up of the frames would have taken six days per floor. This took us four days, and one of the days we had to stop early because of weather.”

Built-in SafetyMEVA32 features dedicated tie off points weld-ed in to the frame for optimal worker safety and other features that are not typical of the standard systems offered by others. Mr. Case advised: “The tie offs are important because you have a dedicat-ed place to tie off to. You can tie off to the top of other systems, but when you must reach some-where you slide. With MEVA32, you can reach out without sliding”. The frames also feature treading on the top of each cross bar. “The grip for your feet really helps so you don’t slip”.

“...this is the best frame I’ve ever used”C&C Industrial has been highly satisfied with their experience as the debut MEVA32 project. “I would use this system again ten times over”, said Robert. “I have told everyone that from here on out, this is the only system I want to use for our shoring projects…this is the best frame I’ve ever used”.

New Developments at MEVA

The Product Management depart-ment prepares detailed analyses, develops concepts and devises optimizations that cover the entire MEVA product portfolio. In our interview, Head of Product Man-agement Simon Röger gives us a glimpse of present and future developments.

Formwork. Simple. Smart. – What contribution does Project Manage-ment make to meeting MEVA's brand promise?Simon Röger: Our department acts as a central interface for all aspects of

MEVA products. Which means that we liaise be-tween our customers and other MEVA departments such as Development, Quality Management etc. In this way, we work together to develop safe and flexible products tailored to our customers' on-site demands. We also make sure that our customers know how to use their formwork systems efficient-ly. We author technical instruction manuals and product lists, and generally try to provide a better understanding of the technical background. In tandem with the MEVA Academy, we offer training courses, seminars and tours of the plant to pass on our expert knowledge.

Particularly on building sites, safety is a crucial subject. What factors play an important role in product management?Simon Röger: Safety is the top priority in all MEVA developments. Our activities are constantly geared to the latest standards and specifications so as to guarantee safety at work. Product Management is effectively the nerve centre of the company's safety regime:we develop safe and innovative solutions that comply with all current requirements.

MEVA has earned itself a reputation as an innovator and pioneer in the formwork sector. What provides the inspiration for your for-ward-looking developments? Simon Röger: We simply listen to what our cus-tomers say about their needs. Indeed, that is one of the cornerstones of our corporate philosophy. With our field staff paying regular visits to custom-

Products for real-life site conditions worldwide

ers, we soon pinpoint the challenges encountered in day-to-day site practice and then collaborate with the other departments to devise appropriate solutions. Single-sided tying and the handling of modular slab formwork systems are among the things currently on the agenda.

How exactly do developments like this proceed?Simon Röger: In our interface function, we work together with Development in drawing up a requirements and system specification as the basis for a methodical investigation of all the relevant issues. MEVA then develops a concept which is translated into graphic form and undergoes struc-tural analysis. A pilot series is then produced and comprehensively tested.

Wall, slab and climbing formwork, shoring towers and safety systems. MEVA's product portfolio is already very extensive. How do you go about identifying new development potential?Simon Röger: MEVA is a global player and sets the agenda in the formwork sector of various markets. In terms of site requirements and working methods, enormous differences sometimes exist between different parts of the world, e.g. between Asia and North America. Backed by our on-the-spot experts and their in-depth knowledge of these requirements, we are able to spot potential at an early stage and develop suitable formwork solu-tions that properly cater for the local framework and conditions.

The bauma 2019 trade show is coming up. What does MEVA have in store for the con-struction industry? Simon Röger: Simple smart formwork solutions and one or two innovations – that much I can tell you. As for the rest, you'll have to wait and see!

Safety System for Changing Floor Plans

In the near future the Roche Tower Building 2 in Basel will become the tallest office building in Switzerland. MEVA reported on the plan-ning and the first stages of the work in the basements in FormworkPress XII/2018.

Adaptability is an important criteria during this construction project, as the building layout become smaller above the 14th floor and the slabs are set back by 2.90 m on the north side. This repeats itself every three storeys and the building becomes slimmer with increasing height.

Safe in any weathersTo guarantee comprehensive protection, the con-struction company responsible, ARGE Marti, relied on the rail-guided screen system MGS. This is firmly anchored to the building and the enclosure extends over three stories. This allows the work to continue regardless of wind and weather conditions.

Flexible enclosure with MGSAs the slabs are offset, close coordination and on-site customer service were important in order to produce a flexible solution. “We planned the layout of the MGS so that each unit has a height of 9.5 ft. The units can be simply removed as the building layout becomes smaller,” explains MEVA engineer Christopher Specht. During the conversion the en-closure thus remains almost completely closed and guarantees a high level of safety.

Individual planning for flexible all-around worker protection

Individual preparationThe guided screen system is prepared in accord-ance with individual requirements in a MEVA factory specialising in the MGS before it is subse-quently installed on the fourth floor of the high-rise building.

Located in North Naples, Florida, Kalea Bay is a luxury, multi-tower high-rise housing devel-opment. When completed, there will be five towers in total, each with between 22 and 25 stories that house 120 residences each. These towers will feature many well-appointed amenities such as rooftop pools, clubhous-es, fine dining, and tennis courts. After the successful sale of the developer units in first tower, construction on the second tower of the gated community began. With 40,000 cu-bic yards of concrete planned to be poured for the second tower, the undertaking was large and more complex than the first.

The second tower design called for much more ver-tical shear wall than the first. The contractor, Allen Concrete and Masonry, needed a climbing system and worker protection that offered first-class safety, was simple to assemble on the jobsite, and would allow for quick cycling from floor to floor to meet scheduling demands. Allen Concrete looked at many formwork solutions to meet their needs for this project. In the end, they found the best

systems to meet their requirements, were MEVA Guided Climbing MGC-F with integrated platforms and MEVA Guided Screens MGS.

MGC-F for safe, quick climbing Allen chose the MEVA Guided Climber MGC-F system for the safety features and the ability to limit the need for platform erection on the jobsite. Safety is always the most important consideration on any project, and MGC is the best solution for high-rise construction. The newest generation of MGC comes to the jobsite with the working plat-forms already integrated, minimizing the amount of labor and space needed at the jobsite. Guiding profiles are built in to the structure for secure climbing and extensions are mounted and fed in from below, further minimizing the risks of erecting the formwork from upper levels. As an additional safety feature, the working platform is completely enclosed. MGC is lifted by crane, and because the profiles are built into the wall, it can be raised safely even in high wind velocities while minimizing crane time.

Quick cycling from floor to floorThe 2nd tower of Kalea Bay utilized twelve MGC-F platforms to pour each floor. The benefits of the MGC-F system allowed the contractor to complete their work more efficiently. “We looked at several different systems from different companies when looking for a solution to build this tower” advised Andrew Reike. “A lot of the systems were compli-cated to put together and required a lot of job site assembly. The MGC-F was simple and made sense. It has been working great”, he said. MGC-F has also allowed for quick cycling from floor to floor. Even with the large scale of each floor’s layout, they have been able to keep a pace of 10-day cycles per floor – a pace that has helped keep the project running on schedule.

MEVA Guided Screens MGS for Complete Enclosure and Added Safety The wind conditions in Naples and the height of the towers at Kalea Bay made it necessary to keep the entire work area completely enclosed. MGS MEVA Guided Screens were the ideal solution to do this. MGS works in step with MGC-F. It is also rail-guided and completely anchored to the building, allowing work to continue even when the weather and wind conditions would mean shutting down the job site with other systems. The project has 200 square feet of MGS on the building, and the workers on the project have been very happy with it. In addition to the total worker protection it provides an added bonus for Allen Concrete; protection from debris carried in the high winds. “Any airborne concrete and other objects hits the screens, not the building. This has given us a much cleaner, neater exposed edge down the building”, they advised.

The MEVA Factor In addition to the benefits offered by MEVA’s products, Chris Allen and the Allen Concrete team also believe that the people at MEVA and the rela-tionships they have developed have been an impor-tant factor to the success of the Kalea Bay project. “We have been impressed with the quality and support of the MEVA team”, Zach Allen said. “Our salesman is one of the best guys in the industry. When we ask a question, if he doesn’t know, he gets us in touch with other MEVA team members right away. It is not a week-long process to get the answers we need. We know that with MEVA we will never be ‘just another customer’ – and that is just as important as the product.”
