TRUMAN WELLNESS COMMITTEE FIN-ISHES FIRST YEAR STRONG Congratulations to the Truman faculty and staff who competed in the Ravenswood Run in April. The event capped off a strong inaugural year for Truman’s Wellness Committee, which was founded in the fall of 2015 to promote health and mental well being on campus. In its first year the committee also planned bimonthly social “mingles” at community estab-lishments, started free-yoga classes for students and faculty, and organized a successful staff support group for end-of-the-year stress. If you are interested in joining the Wellness Com-mittee in the fall, please contact committee chair Ben Ortiz ([email protected]). The committee wishes everyone a happy, healthy summer.
