* According to the Law of Ukraine “On Higher Education” the students are entitled to choose the

subjects within the limits stipulated by the respective EP and the work curriculum to the extent of not less than 25% of the total ECTS credits provided for this higher education level.

The institutions of higher education independently determine the mechanisms for exercising the right of the students to choose courses (described by the relevant Regulations). The selective disciplines can be formed into blocks, then the student selects a block of disciplines, after which all the disciplines of the block become compulsory to study. It is recommended to use both block choice forms and completely free choice of discipline by the students.

THE AMOUNT OF ECTS CREDITS IN CYCLES

In the training of specialists in the field of musical art, a complex system of

representations of students is formed in the context of in-depth study of both

professional, professional-practical and interdisciplinary disciplines. Mastering the

content of the program, reflected in the synthesis of lectures, practical, individual

lessons, combined with independent work, the student is formed by the integrity of

professional compliance and competence as a future specialist of musical art. The

structural integrity of the training cycle are normative:

RC educational and professional program:

- disciplines of General training (34 ECTS credits);

- disciplines of professional and vocational training (96 ECTS credits);

FC educational and professional program:

- disciplines of General, professional and vocational training (110 ECTS credits);

The total volume of educational and professional training of the “Bachelor of

musical arts" is 240 ECTS credits.

The content of educational and professional training of the bachelor of musical arts

is revealed in the annotations of the disciplines specified in the curriculum.
