Our Outdoor Education programs will be catered to suit your school grounds, pupils and staff to encourage a sustainable approach to Outdoor Education. There will be opportunities for staff and students to receive training / qualifications including Forest Schools, Kayaking and Climbing. We also have our own Forest School site this can be accessed for sessions for your school if preferred.
As well as our Water Sports centre at Seaham Harbour, we operate at a site in the middle of Durham where we run a “River Schools” program combining paddling and curriculum to encourage learning outside of the classroom. We will always do our best to incorporate the curriculum into all of our programs.
We are open to offering a “one-off” half-day session as a trial or demonstration of what our sessions involve so please get in touch to arrange this. Lastly, if we are running a regular program for you at your school, you will get a discounted rate on paddle sports sessions at either of our venues.

sessions that you would like, or you would like to adjust the timings or numbers, please just give us a
call and we will create bespoke sessions on request. Our numbers per session are based on British
Canoeing ratios.
All Taster Sessions are an introduction to Paddle Sports built around games and fun on the water,
with a high emphasis on safety. Each session is delivered by our team of experienced and qualified
British Canoeing instructors. Each Adventurer will play lots of games to use and develop your newly
learned skills and maybe take a trip out to the light house on the water. All activities are super easy
and you don’t even need to be able to swim they just need to be willing to give it a try. We challenge
by choice, so even if they just dip their toe in that is success in our eyes!
