About Forest Produce

Forest Produce supplies the best ingredients available today for those whose reputations rely on uncompromising standards, quality and reliability.

The first consideration of all good chefs is the ingredients. Get those right and your fundamentals are secured. That’s where Forest Produce comes in.

Having spent the past 10 years supplying specialist ingredients to chefs all over the country, Company Director Tony Quick decided that the only way to make sure the job was done to the standards demanded from top chefs was to do it himself, so in January 2003, after only two months planning, Forest Produce did its first delivery. Now after seven years successful trading we have more experience and products to offer.

Forest Produce has built a reputation for supplying top class ingredients, from fresh truffles, caviar and foie gras to simple things like fresh herbs and salad leaves, delivered five days a week in our own refrigerated vans.

Tony worked as a chef and understands what a high-pressure industry it is. Having ingredients delivered when you need them without compromise is priceless to a chef - and Forest Produce prides itself in being able to do this.

Food fashions change so often with new ingredients turning up on a weekly basis, so if a product you need is not in here call us, we should be able to find it for you.

1. All goods offered by ‘Forest Produce Ltd’ are subject to availability.

2. ‘Forest Produce Ltd’ reserves the right to alter prices, stock and services wsithout notification subject to market fluctuations and variations in relevant exchange rates. However, ‘Forest Produce Ltd’ will endevour to advise its customers of any changes, where possible.

3. All goods must be signed for on receipt.

4. All claims for shortages or damage must be notified to ‘Forest Produce Ltd’ within 24 hours of delivery.

5. All goods must be paid for in cash or cheque on delivery, except where an account facility has been approved.

6. Risk in the goods passes to the buyer on delivery, but title remains vested in ‘Forest Produce Ltd’ so long as any sum due to the company, for whatever reason remains unpaid. The buyer agrees that ‘Forest Produce Ltd’, in seeking to exercise its rights under this clause, may at any time enter the buyer’s premises and remove the goods subject of this title.

7. “Forest Produce Ltd’ requires payment within 14 days of receipt of statement.

8. ‘Forest Produce Ltd’ reserves the right to pursue all overdue invoices by whatever legal means necessary, or by passing the debt to a Credit Protection Agency, or by any other appropriate means without prior reference to the debtor. Any costs incurred will be passed on to the customer involved.
