MY HEART AS YOUR ASSOCIATIONAL MISSIONARY
Thank you for the privilege to serve you as Associational Missionary in the Transylvania Baptist Association. I am grateful for your faithful prayers. I am grateful for your Christ honoring service. I am grateful for your financial support of God’s Kingdom Work through the Transylvania Baptist Association. Through the Lord’s goodness and your obedience, we are on a healthy path financially as an association. This is due in no
small part to the servant hearted ladies who volunteer time and service in the office. By God’s grace we will continue to go forward
with our volunteer team and depend upon God to provide for our every need even as the churches do the same.
Thanks for all the encouraging and kind words about the recent 153rd Associational Meeting at Brevard First Baptist. God’s anointing was mighty upon Pastor Shane Hardesty’s message on Prayer and Pastor Leland Holland’s message on Repentance. Thanks to Paul Smith for Christ honoring worship. Thanks to Pastor Tommy Crocker and the wonderful people at Brevard First Baptist for loving and servant hearted hospitality. Thanks to the many churches who joined together to host the welcome center and helped with so many other areas of the annual meeting! Anticipate in early 2017 the following Kingdom Building opportunities:
BUILDING OR DEEPENING A PEACE MAKING ATMOSPHERE IN MY CHURCH
BIBLICAL PRINCIPLES IN SEEING GOD’S BEST FRUIT IN A CHURCH REVIVAL FOCUS
BIBLICAL PRINCIPLES IN SEEING GOD MAXIMIZE REACHING CHILDREN FOR CHRIST THROUGH VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL The Lord is stirring Biblical Revival and Revitalization in the churches of the Transylvania Baptist Association of Churches. At least four of our churches that were stagnant and/or declining are seeing God move the churches in the positive direction of winning souls and moving toward Biblical health. These are challenging days for God’s people to serve Him in unity in reaching people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Spiritual darkness is ever increasing. SERV-
ING TOGETHER IN UNITY IS ESSENTIAL TO GOD’S FULLEST BLESSINGS (Psalm 133) upon our lives and churches.
November calls us to renew our gratitude for our Great Salvation and to be thankful for the people blessings as well as materials blessings from our God from whom all good things flow. May God fill your Thanksgiving celebration with much love, peace and joy.
I encourage you to pray daily for the lost. I encourage you to pray daily for the Lord to open our eyes to the fields white unto harvest. I encourage you to pray daily for the Lord to empower you to be a witness for the Gospel. I encourage you to pray daily for God to use your church and your
life to help people hear the Good News of Jesus Christ! I encourage you to pray daily for Biblical Revival to breakout in Transylvania County.
I am your servant in Christ. Jan and I love you with the love of the Lord. Jan and I pray for you daily,
Bro. Mike
