UV and blue light lamps enable crime scene investigators and forensic labs to see fingerprints

developed with fluorescent materials.

When exposed to UV or blue light sources, bodily fluids and fluorescent-treated blood samples glow

brightly and become easy to see.

Fire inspectors can actually see residual accelerant that has not been consumed by fire. Under UV light, carbon residues from chemical fuels on walls, floors,

furniture and carpeting becomes instantly visible.

Driver’s licenses, passports, credit cards and many other official documents that have invisible fluorescent markings become visible and can be quickly and easily

verified under UV light by a security professional.

UV sanitization of tools, devices and work surfaces is an important aspect of forensic lab work. UV Crosslinkers

provide decontamination, including carry-over contamination, while preserving the efficiency of hypersensitive PCR

amplification of minute quantities of DNA.

WarrantyAll equipment is warranted against defects in manufacture. Spectronics Corporation’s obligation under this warranty is limited to repairing or replacing, at the option of Spectronics Corporation, any part(s) of the product which, if properly installed, used and maintained, proves upon factory examination to have been defective in materials or workmanship within 12 months from the date of delivery to the customer, including LEDs.

This warranty does not apply to any component which (1) is normally consumed in operation or (2) has a normal life inherently shorter than the warranty stated. For example, bulbs, filters and rechargeable batteries are warranted for 30 days; the 100S/M-PQL bulb is warranteed for 90 days. In addition, Spectronics Corporation does not warrant any instrument that has been subjected to misuse, negligence or accident, or has been repaired or altered by anyone other than Spectronics Corporation.

This warranty is in place of all other warranties of quality. There are no other warranties either oral, written, express, implied or statutory.
