Interning for the Barbarian Group was my f irst

hands on experience at a design agency mainly

focusing in digital e-commerce experiences.

I was brought in to help the creat ive director and

team with design and content management for

SearStyle.com, an e-commerce si te from Sears that

special izes in showcasing the company's top brands.

I was involved in the design of the main image

of the landing page, working with image edit ing,

typography and color to create an evoking

message. I a lso prepped f i les for the developers,

created ad banners and social media designs which

promoted Sear 's products as wel l as other services.

Creat ive Intern / Graphic Designer June 2012 - May 2013

02Y A M M E R / M I C R O S O F T

The beginning of my career with Yammer, I started

as an intern that helped a very new, but innovative

start-up company f lourish to become the top social

enterprise in the market. I worked under the

marketing department while creat ing design work

for marketing campaigns, col lateral work (external

and internal facing), microsites, iconography,

i l lustrat ions and design for conference signage and

content management. After the company was

purchased by Microsoft , I became a freelance

designer focusing on bigger campaigns, external

facing infographics while support ing with the

re-design of the company's public website. Other

projects included content management and the

design for the entire conference tour throughout

Europe and USA. This included, emails , prepping

assets for the landing page, col lateral and signage.

07In the upcoming pages, I am going to share

selected works that I was personal ly involved in

from begining to end while working at Yammer.

Some of these projects I had more involvement

in than others, but they st i l l taught me a lot

through the different processes of marketing

campaigns, responsive design, user experience,

and how to help a company grow creatively.

The chal lenge for this project was to successful ly

brand the user conference by using the exist ing

tools from the conference's microsite and other

marketing efforts . In the end, we needed to brand

the conference in a way that was connecteded to

the microsite, but also offered something extra

to the experience that we were trying to convey

throught the entire bui lding. This included

meterboards, decals , event program and st ickers.

2:15pm - 3:00pm Fireside Chat: Creating a Culture of Sharing Speakers: Leaders from the IDC and Yammer

In today’s real-time world, information is only as useful as the ability to drive action - and fast. Many existing business processes,

however, emphasize siloed thinking and action, relying on information asymmetry that ultimately slows down organizations. As

leading companies are finding out, today’s problems can no longer be solved with yesterday’s tools. Instead, they are thriving on

the power of shared knowledge. Join Adam Pisoni, CTO and Co-Founder of Yammer, and Michael Fauscette, Analyst and Group Vice

President at IDC for an illuminating discussion about becoming a knowledge-sharing culture — inside and out.
