About
I studied city planning in college but I’ve always enjoyed foreign language and travel as well. Once I started working full-time, it didn’t take too long for me to feel like life was getting away from me, so I went to Spain for a few years and taught English. My experiences abroad have deepened my sense of connection to the rest of the world, and my profes-sional ambitions now focus more on community engagement at the grassroots level.
Most MeMorAble MoMent AbroAd My most memorable experience from my time living in Spain was spending the 2010 winter holi-days backpacking around Morocco. I met up with a friend who was living there at the time and we spent two weeks visiting different towns. It was a great way to learn about a part of the world that is
so heavily subjected to media spin.

About
From January until June, I studied at Queen’s University Belfast in Northern Ireland, experienced a culture different from my own, and traveled extensively throughout Eu-rope. During my time, I not only expanded in my aca-demics, but also in my experience and knowledge of other cultures.

There were so many memories that I came back with that I will treasure for the rest of my life, but the most memo-rable moment would be on the Glacier Express—the scenic train that travels though the Swiss Alps. While on our journey, I was able to witness some of the most ma-jestic, beautiful scenes in the world. Those snow-covered mountains alone inspired me to continue my travel and to do my best to share my time abroad with others and motivate others to travel the world
About
As a recently graduated Film student with a huge case of wanderlust, I decided that the UK was not the place for me. So in November 2011 I set off on an 11-month around the world trip, visiting Southeast Asia, Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and finally the USA, where I worked as a Media Director at a YMCA summer camp for the 2nd year running. I am now back in the UK, living with the post-travel blues and planning my next adventure.

When a girl peed on my friend’s bed in a hostel in Bris-bane. Either that or watching the sunset in Fiji, sitting in an inflatable tube, beer in hand.
