MArMOLEUM, THE NATUrALFLOOr COVErINGWith its all-natural ingredients, Marmoleum flooring is almost like

creating a floor covering with n utrients.

What makes Mamoleum special is that it is ceated fom aw mateials

obtained from their natural habitat right where they grow and renew, often in

just 12 months time.

Jute and ax ae annual cops that can be havested just like wheat o con.

Extacting osin is a continuous pocess, while wood ou, a waste mateial fom

the timber industry, is derived from European production forests. Limestone is

available in abundance.

With Marmoleum, it is the simple, na tural ingredients that create the product and

give it the unique pefomance attibutes Ma moleum is what it is, an authentic

poduct. All this makes Mamoleum a natual oo that, afte a long 30-plus ea

life cycle, can start all over again as Marmoleum is biodegradable.

PErFOrMANCE IN THE rEAL WOrLDThe reality of day-to-day life for a floor is that it encounters both use and a buse without being

able to balance its performance with prescribed cleaning and maintenance regimes. That means

cleaning and maintenance is not always carried out exactly on timeor in the way prescribed by the

manufacturer. The real world requires foolproof solutions.

Fobo Mamoleum is known fo its tack ecod in heav-taffic envionments such as schools, health

care, offices and public buildings. In these applications, everyday use is characterised by high demands

on hygiene, resistance to wear and the need for easy cleaning and maintenance. Dirt and sand carried

into the building, hand disinfectant spills and the reality of the pressure of the economy on cleaning and

maintenance regimes mean that floors today have to endure and withstand use and abuse to an even

higher degree than before.

Topshield2 has been designed to ceate a Mamoleum that meets the demands of eveda use, is even

moe esistant to dit pick-up and less pone to wea with impoved esistance to scatches and stains to

create a floor that gives you lasting performance over time.

TO WELD Or NOT TO WELD?That is the question.Welding is a practice that has become an accepted requirement for resilient oors. This is

because most resilient oors have a tendency to shrink after installation, which creates the risk of joints and

seams opening up. Marmoleum does not shrink, however. That means welding, in the majority of cases, is not

required. Skilled installers can make perfect joints without the need for welding. With a good Marmoleum

installation you will have an impermeable resilient oor one that can be cleaned with water, even when not

welded. To prove this, we submerged test oors in water for 72 hours, without any resulting damage to the oor.

Welding options

There are matching welding cords for every Marmoleum design. A particular feature is the patented multi colour

welding cord from Forbo. This welding cord creates invisible seams. The solid, single-coloured cords can be usedto hide seams, as decorative accents or as functional elements such as part of a wayfinding programme.

One could say this collection reflects traces of the past and present in many different

ways such as traces of history in the rich colour palette inspired by heritage as well as

Linearity is a modern and outspoken trend which we refined and brought up to

the colour spectrum of the 21st century. The directional linear pattern is the natural

outcome of making linoleum in one of its initial stages of creation. By playing

with colour and exploring the boundaries of our production process, we created

new designs and colour combinations. Taking these possibilities to their extreme,

a special statement is made with three eye catching colours. For the remainder,

nature itself was an inspiration for an extended range of warm and inviting hues.

functioning properly.

Still, some customers need a floor covering that they can updateperiodically, perhaps

To meet these needs, we offer a selection of colours that are guaranteed to remain

available until 2021. This Authentic collection provides long term certainty when

planning a series of installations over a particular time.

Authentic consists of a compact, well-balanced colour palette picked from the

Marmoleum Real and Fresco palette that provides freedom of design while ensuring

long-term matching and consistency. Authentic is available in 24 colours in 2.5 mm.

marmoleumacousticMarmoleum Acoustic has a total thickness of 4mm and reduces

impact sound by 14 dB (ISO 717-2). I t is a twinlayer linoleum

built up from 2mm of Marmoleum and 2mm Corkment backing.

Using Marmoleum Acoustic reduces installation costs as it can be

installed in one go, avoiding the need to first lay Corkment and

then Marmoleum. Marmoleum Acoustic is available in six colours.

Special coverings for technically sophisticated solutionsIn addition to our standardranges, we also offer

a number of linoleum floor coverings developed to

meet specific technical or comfort requirements.


Marmoleumdecibel

marmoleumohmexOhmex is linoleum that meets higher requirements for electrical

conductivity. Electrical resistance is improved to < 1-10 (EN1081),

ensuring personal safety and protecting equipment that is sensitive

to static electricity. Marmoleum Ohmex, which is 2.5 mm thick, is

available in four colours. Typical areas of use are computer/server

rooms and areas with sensitive equipment.

Luxury Vinyl Tiles (LVT) are still a relative newcomer to the flooring

market, however the modular format has made LVT an attractive

alternative for many applications where efficiency, design and

heterogeneous vinyl tiles and planks which are adhered with tackifier

rather than permanent adhesive. Available in 36 designs ranging from

natural stones and woods to interesting metallic and textured effects,

the collection offers something for all commercial floors.

Ideal for use alongside carpet tiles, Allura f lex has a gauge of 5mm

with a 1mm transparent wear layer and proven PUR Pearl finish.
