These booklets are available for you to get to know them and their families and pray for their ministries. ATTENTION PARENTS OF COLLEGE STUDENTS Please fill out the sheet at the Information Center with your student’s college information and complete address for the 2018-2019 school year. We need this information for Care Packages that are sent throughout the school year. DEACON CAR CARE DAY ~ For Widows, Single Moms, & Single Women ~ Saturday, September 29th, 9:00 AM - Noon Bring your car to the lower lot behind the Church and we will check it over, shine it up and add fluids, if needed. You will also receive a certificate for an oil change. Hope to see you there! Rain or shine. OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD ~ Shoebox Ministry Volunteers are needed to help with collecting and packing our “shoeboxes”. Help is needed on October 28th, November 4th, and November 11th. The University of Mobile has named Dr. Steve Bowersox a pioneer in vocal and worship leadership with expertise in technology and vocal training. He currently leads the worship program for the Alabama School of the Arts.
Dr. Bowersox has extensive experience as a professor, professional musician, pastor, worship leader, and business leader. He is the founding executive director of Integrity Music’s Worship International and Seminars for Worship. Dr. Bowersox holds degrees in music, education, business and ministry; has experience as a producer, arranger, worship leader, studio and touring musician; and has developed training materials used nationwide. He has authored the Worship Musician’s Theory Course, Vocal Aerobics: A Fitness Program for Your Voice, and the Worship Leaders Survival Kit. Dr. Bowersox has performed at national venues including the National Day of Prayer and with prominent musicians such as Paul Baloche, Sandi Patty, Dolly Parton and Barbara Mandrell, among many others.
