Power any environmental monitor and/or web camera over Ethernet cable using the PoE Splitter & Injector Kit. Only a standard CAT5 cable (max 300’) is required to carry both data and power to each device. The injector takes data from an Ethernet hub and power from a wall outlet and outputs both data and power through the CAT5 cable. The splitter is placed at the end of the CAT5 cable, returning data and power to their respective cables. This unit is a standalone device and does not interface to an environment monitor.

Relay Controlled Auto-Dialer

While our environmental monitors provide IT administrators and facilities managers with a powerful combination of Email and SNMP-based alerts – what happens if your network connections go down and the messages can’t be sent? Models equipped with dry-contact relays, such as the RelayGoose II and WatchDog 100, can even trigger alarm lights or sirens via the relay outputs – but what if there’s no one around to hear or see them?

The auto-dialer provides an added level of alarm notification. When combined with an ITWatchDogs monitoring unit equipped with relay outputs, the dialer can be programmed to call up to nine different phone numbers and play a pre-recorded message to each person who answers, until one of them acknowledges the message by pressing the * or # key on their phone. The unit can even be programmed to play one of two different messages, depending on which trigger input is activated, and to only call certain numbers for one trigger vs. another. The dialer comes equipped with a built-in audible alarm and are able to dial out even while running on battery power.

Web Interface

Console Aggregator Dashboard

ITWatchDogs Console Aggregator offers the convenience of managing a multi-unit deployment from a single web-interface.

The software runs as a Windows Service providing a central location for logging and graphing real-time sensor data and managing device configurations and alert notifications, all through a single IP address.

Network cameras interfaced on any ITW device are visible on the dashboard. A security camera tab con-solidates video image from all cameras, providing a visual summary of remote conditions. Video images are logged every minute, allowing users to review historic events.

Sensor data are stored in a SQL database on a monthly basis limited only by disk space. Data and event log can be accessed by any SQL management tools and can be exported in CSV format. Camera images are kept for one month and can be reviewed from the Console Aggregator web-interface.

Users can selectively upgrade firmware to multiple units at a time, from a click of a button.

Console Aggregator supports up to 100 environmental monitors. Access to the user interface is through any standard web browser – client software is not required.
