A Universal Personal
Pastor Mark Schwarzbauer PhDFamily Worship Center
I Timothy 2:3-4“For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, 4 who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.”
Part One: It’s
Personal
Romans 5:18-19 “18 Therefore, as through one man’s offense judgment came to all men, resulting in condemnation, even so through one Man’s righteous act the free gift came to all men, resulting in justification of life. 19 For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man’s obedience many will be made righteous.”
THE UNIVERSAL PLAN
II Peter 3:9 “9 The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.”
THE UNIVERSAL PLAN
I Timothy 2:3-4“For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, 4 who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.”
THE UNIVERSAL PLAN
Acts 17:30-31 30 … but now commands all men everywhere to repent, 31 because He has appointed a day on which He will judge the world in righteousness by the Man whom He has ordained. He has given assurance of this to all by raising Him from the dead.”
THE UNIVERSAL PLAN
A Personal Plan- The Scriptures are full of stories of individual
struggles and salvations.
God works in a personal way
in you too!
Universal without personal is cold
detached religion
Personal without universal is self-styled deception
Part Two: A PersonalMeasure
The Bible (not experience) is and always will be the sole rule of faith and practice.
Every experience of salvation and the baptism
of the Holy Spirit must line up with the Word of God. The Word is the RULER and MEASURE of our
experience not visa-versa.
Your salvation is a personal work of God’s grace in your personal life that is precious,
unique and yet in line with the Word of God because God does not lie or contradict
Himself. The same applies to the Baptism of the Holy Spirit.
Part Three: A Personal
Relationship
A Personal Relationship• God wants to bring you closer to
Himself.• God wants to do more in your life and
through your life.• God wants you to come and experience
a deeper walk.• God wants a personal relationship with
YOU!
