The guidelines identify the stages and related rules for opening facilities in Idaho. Under the guidelines, pools may open when stage 3 is reached (the current estimate is that stage 3 may start on May 30). If stage 3 is reached and maintained, then the pool will be opened for the summer season. Understand that the pool may be closed in the future if the stage 3 criteria is not maintained and the state falls back to stage 2 or 1. A separate community communication will immediately precede the opening or closing of the facilities. Attached is a summary of the Community Pool Terms of Use for your review regarding the facilities. Daily cleaning in accordance with CDC protocols of the facilities is to include: Providing hand sanitizer at the pool gate in addition to soap in the restrooms. Clean and disinfect bathroom facilities including doors, sinks, countertops, toilets, partitions, and grab bars. Clean and disinfect commonly touched surfaces such as pool gate and handles, pool furniture and tables, and pool handrails. Lounge and common area chairs will be spaced six feet apart at each cleaning. Your health and safety are paramount, even with these extra protocols in place there is no amount of cleaning or disinfecting that can protect you from every hazard. Your use of the facilities will be at your own risk and you will need to use your judgement regarding your actions and the actions of others as to maintaining a safe environment for you and your family.
