adoption or use of one or more practices, means,

methods, operations, or processes, reasonably

necessary or appropriate to provide safe or healthful

employment and places of employment.

Integrate sustainability into the core governance system of the university to create an innovative enabling environment within which the other components (teaching, research and community engagement) operate efficiently.

Indicator's Intent

This indicator shows whether health and safety management practices are resulting in fewer occupational health and safety incidents. It evaluates the system used to track and report on health and safety incidents and performance, and also the recording of accident statistics. Health and safety performance is a key measure of an PTJ’s duty of care. This Indicator provides insight into a campus’ practices of ensuring & maintaining zero accident.
